A few questions about the game, in a very particular order

I remember it being the Bills 49 but I could be wrong as well. Anyone still have it recorded? I deleted it last night. -
Fred Jackson - Hard to sit the guy

Agreed. But between the tackles???? Spiller has never shown that ability. I would expect Hackett/Marrone to know that. And even if they didn't, it should have been apparent at halftime and triggered a change. That's what I found baffling. It wasn't working yet they kept going to it over and over. -

I'm sure Marrones gut was telling him to go, but his brain won out. It was the right call in my opinion. His D was playing much better than the O all game. Spiller I believe had just been stuffed the play before. The last thing Marrone wanted in that situation was to hand Brady the ball in the Buffalo end of the field. Punt it deep and let the D go to work I'm sure was his plan. It didn't work out, but I contend it was the right call. -

I'm pretty sure it needs to be a true sell out. However local TV will generally buy a reasonable amount of tickets so that they can broadcast the game and get the commercial revenue rather than showing Lassie -

You believe that fans not buying tickets will lead to the team leaving Buffalo. I get that, I don't think the same way myself but I get it. But to belittle people whose patience has run out on the reset every 3 years so they can say they are constantly rebuilding plan the Bills FO has had in place for 13 years and counting makes no sense at all my robotic friend. Some people are fed up and have had enough. Some have better things to do with their money. Some, like me, prefer to watch with their family and it is far more financially feasible to do that at home than at the Ralph with a family of five. The "buy tickets or the team will move" mantra has gotten very old, at least to me. And for the record, Bills fans have put up with a **** product for the past 13 years. The fact that any games sell out tells me that Bills fans ARE some of the most loyal in the NFL. -

Agree completely. Besides, the game will be rebroadcast, usually multiple times. Though I would cut people blacked out in Syracuse a little slack myself. Waaaaaaay past 75 miles away from the Ralph there. If it gets blacked out, enjoy the day and watch it later. -

1) Looking at ticketmaster most of the tickets left are in the 300's. I'm thinking TV will buy them out. 2) If there was a towel being thrown in, it was done before yesterday. Tickets have been on sale for quite a while now. But in my opinion there are far more reasons for not buying a ticket to a game other than "throwing in the towel on the season". -

I looked on ticketmaster and there are scattered singles in the 100's and quite a few left in the 300's. Hopefully it gets down to the point where the TV station will buy them out. -
I hope Marrone learned from this game.

He made a mistake. -
I think both ... they are better and they faced a NE team that without Marcia would have been pretty bad. They had 2 receivers that belong on an NFL team, and one of them re-injured his groin at the end of the first half and was STILL effective the entire second half. And I'm not sure what everyone is praising McLovin for. He played against guys who didn't know how to run a route, plus got away with at least one obvious PI. Manuel I thought played a good game considering. Spiller was awful, SJ still seems to drop the big ones, and this hurry up they are running hurt them a lot .. particularly at the end. Marrone also had a bad game with the ridiculous challenge then not slowing the game down at the end. O-Line was pretty good I thought. The run blocking must have been OK because FJ was running fine and the pass blocking seemed good as well. The D -Line was MIA again. The secondary was well, the secondary. Gilmore and Byrd were both missed a LOT. Three turnovers by NE is what kept it close. One on the Bills goal line after a long drive and another run back for 6 which was also pretty deep in the Bills end. The Bills tried to keep up in that category as well, and did manage to "win" the penalty contest. A tough game to watch with all the mistakes and general poor play from both teams. Sadly I told my family as soon as SJ dropped that 3rd down pass late that the Pats* would win the game by 2 points. Say what you will about Marcia, the S.O.B comes through when it counts, as did the 2 NE receivers. All is not lost however. Things will improve. Marrone/Hackett will figure out how to use Spiller effectively. Manuel will certainly improve as the season goes on. Gilmore will return as hopefully will Byrd. And please God let Pettine figure out how to get this high priced D-Line to play worth a ****. The secondary cannot afford to commit blitzers all the time just to get pressure on the QB. I expected it to be very rough out of the gate and hoped to see improvement throughout the season. I got the first part, now on to the second!

Predictions - Bills v. New England*

How do you figure? The Bills defense has mostly the same players, except for one of the best who is out. The Bills DC BellyCheat has prepared for many times. I would say he knows the Bills defense pretty well. On the offensive side, he knows SJ13 and Spiller. Doesn't know the rookie HC or OC unless he decided to watch some 'cuse film, and is playing a QB he hasn't seen before, but who is also a rookie. Not exactly in the dark, However none of the Bills coaches have prepared for the cheaters before so they are more in the dark than BellyCheat is in my opinion. In my opinion if the Bills D front 4 step up and play not just a good game, but a great game, and Spiller can find some running room, the score stays respectable. If not it could be an ugly afternoon at the Ralph. -
You might want to put them in the blender and have a flutie-flake shake

CBS picks the cheaters with and without the spread. Cheaters across the board at ESPN, Fox, and NBC (ProFootballTalk) as well. I guess the only true believers are in the Bills locker room and TBD -
A fine tradition returning! Make sure you load up on wings tonight so that's what Marcia wil be wiping off of you ass! For us it was my kids eating Flutie Flakes, then it was TO's. Now we watch during dinner eating pizza in various Bills apparel.

3. I only have ~75 minutes (I watch without commercials or halftime while eating dinner). -

I agree with this. the only thing that prevents this from happening is the front 4 of the D stepping up big time and getting constant pressure on Marcia without having to bring others to help. -

I sure hope there isn't a ton of cheatriats fans to be found.
