    I know it was a lot of folks' (correct) guess, but I'm still surprised. RT with experience and traits. Hope Van Demark has been progressing on the right side in practice. He did great on the left in camp.

    Given the injury I have to imagine he'll be a good player next year. The hope is that when we're still playing a month from now, he has recovered enough to start making an impact.

    Interim coach debut game. East coast team flying west. 9 days to our short week (6 days) for them to prepare. This had me nervy all week, which turns out was warranted. A win is a win.

    I'm not sure I agree. I termed it "situationally bad offense" and a lot of other folks had a similar take. Dorsey only looked good in aggregated box scores - his offense failed the eye test a ton last year. Everything looked difficult for long stretches of the season.

    I'd like to see us continue running the ball especially in the first half. I feel like most of the games we play down to competition, the passing game is disjointed and we have quick 3 and outs. Load up and grind out a couple drives on the ground to settles into the game.
