  1. Man, I wanted him replaced after last season. It sure seems like when we win, it's in spite of him. I hope like crazy you guys who support him are correct.
  2. +as much as possible
  3. Nor would I. I would blame him in addition to the Guards. And he should recognize that they do, in fact, suck, and not make them a central component of our rushing attack (as much as possible). Regardless, thrilled with the win and GO BILLS! Gotta go run some errands - 5-3 going into the bye! All these games coming up are going to be nerve wracking!
  4. I think our rushing attack last year would have been better with a different OC. Hackett was unbearable last year as well (to me), mostly in a situational playcalling sense. Yes, our OLine is rough. But the OLine and Hackett are not mutually exclusive. They can both suck. I happen to think that they both do, unfortunately. Every week, though, I will hope for the OLine to gel and Hackett to grasp situational football.
  5. Interesting. I see almost the entire fanbase appalled with our "moves" to (not)address the OLine. My problem with Hackett (assuming he's the most responsible person for the offensive playcalls) is that what he calls habitually emphasizes our weak points at the worst times. They'll be kneejerk reactions for every aspect of a game (including the people who think Eric Wood and Cordy Glenn suck now - watch them magically get better as they get more time with Urbik in between), but, Hackett's playcalling has been severely disappointing to me regardless of execution (good or bad). Of course, none of us are privy to the inner-workings of the playcalling - I'm just using my best guess like any of us are.
  6. Hey just out of curiosity, do you like Hackett? Do you instead think it's more on the OLine? QB? Think the offense is fine as it is? (that's not snark I'm genuinely interested)
  7. I would relish a Hackett firing. Don't see it happening though. I'm realistically hoping for a Marrone statement to the effect of "I'll be contributing more to the offensive playcalling" etc
  8. Did he get blasted for it? It's quite possible, I just honestly don't remember him getting widely panned for it. Yep.
  9. A ratio doesn't provide enough context, but anyone who watched that game has to be furious with Hackett. Of course, we have our resident contrarians (I admit I kinda like 'em - some of the time) who will make it seem like we're nuts for wanting Hackett to be shipped to Timbuktu.
  10. I'm hoping someone emerges to replace Pears, but it's definitely nice to have Urbik back.
  11. Not having AWilliams would be rough...
  12. He was absolutely not a consensus #1 that year. Hindsight looks great, but there were many detractors.
  13. True, although I hate it with similar gusto even when a mobile QB is playing.
  14. Let's pray Aaron Williams can play most of the snaps.
  15. There are few things more infuriating to watch than an awful OLine. I hope Urbik solidifies the left, and allows Glenn and Wood to have a little less to worry about. We have to get this fixed.
  16. Hackett is a huge weakness in my opinion. I do not pine for Chan, though.
  17. I honestly cannot believe something hasn't been done about our OLine.
  18. Thrilled with the win but the turnovers have been outrageous these past two weeks. And yes, the OLine is abysmal.
  19. I find it incredibly bland. Climate is fine with me!
  20. Lol. I'd rather visit anywhere in the bay over san diego by a longshot. I'd also much rather live in buffalo than san diego, and I grew up in a CA beach town after moving away from buffalo. I'll think about going Mark - thanks for the thread!
  21. I can't tell if this is a joke I'm not quite getting. But yeah, Stevie's dropped pass against the Steelers was years later...maybe 2011?
