    I'll say it again: run on first and second down every time, pass only on 3rd downs, and we end up with a better record than we have now. Chan calling 3 straight passing plays to open up the second half was horrendous.

    Hairston has done a decent job of filling in, but I still can't wait to have Glenn back.

    Call me naive, but I am legitimately surprised that there are people who would remain fans (of the team) if the team moved.

    I don't think it's bad. In fact, I completely agree with it. You avoid the guys with red flags, pick a guy who looks like he has all the tools...and then you hope. In the end it's still a coin flip (at the top of the 1st round).

    I'm also for Geno Smith or Tyler Wilson. Dysert in a later round is intriguing, but this is the year we need to move up for the top 1 or 2 prospect.

    He was leading with the top of his helmet. I'm shocked he wasn't penalized. I'm not saying he should have been for our sake, but I'm very surprised the referees didn't throw the flag on at least two occasions.

    He just said he wouldn't consider defensive coaching changes.

    Week in, week out. Just run the ball on 1st and 2nd, and pass if it's 3rd and more than 3. I'm convinced this basic formula would lead to more success.

    I think what hurts so much is that we have so many of the components that take a long time to build. The lines, many of the skill positions. It's not so much that this season is likely toast, but that any sort of optimistic mentality by the team will be long gone.

    I just can't believe it. I know this is Buffalo football so I should expect it, but wow. They find ways to lose games they've already won.

    It's true, Nelson was a huge loss. I wrote "devastating" at the time, and I'm sticking by it. Regardless, how is our defense so miserable?

    I have this feeling that we will all be expecting a round 1 QB, and Nix will take a WR or LB instead.

    Let's say Landry plays well for the entire season. Does Nix use his logic of drafting players who have played well their entire collegiate careers (thereby passing on him)?
