  1. Hockey season just ended for my son, so I have about 4 weeks to enjoy my interests before lacrosse season begins. 😂 I’ve been following along and have been to a couple games this season. I did hear that Benny and Red have been butting heads all season. Benny throwing tantrums at practice and in the locker room. Sounds like their relationship had become quite toxic, and Benny was just not a very good teammate. Autry knew he had to cut bait to “reset” the team culture. I’m not sure if there were any other contributing factors, or what was “the straw that broke the camel’s back.” FWIW
  2. I saw something today that after the VATech win Syracuse has a +50% chance of getting an at large bid as an 11 seed. Squarely on the bubble.
  3. I was big into collecting autographs when I was a kid. I had a collection of 30-50 cards/photos. Lots of late 80s-early 90s Bills/Sabres, but also many of my other favorite players. Some “authenticated” and some not. This past Christmas while I was home I finally found my collection after digging through the attic. Fortunately, all of them were pretty well preserved in hard cases. I ended up giving my collection to my son who is big into sports cards/autographs. Every once in a while I’ll bid on something on eBay. Mostly hockey autographs now for some reason. Still, I give them to my son.
  4. I use cannabis regularly. Have so for over 30 years. I’ve never harmed anyone. Well, except for the neighbors dog who was bad-mouthing my daughter for playing too loudly in the driveway. I went inside, ripped a couple bong hits of some fire sativa, and then killed that bastard with a roofing hammer. Other than that though…
  5. Huh…what? I guess they have to make room for a punter?
  6. I was 4.5 Jaylen Warren receiving yards short of cashing on a $25 +1851 parlay last night. 🤦🏾‍♂️
  7. Honestly, I think an argument could be made for both Ed Oliver (Chris Jones/Aaron Donald) and Terrell Bernard (Roquon Smith/Fred Warner). The state lines for both are comparable if not better, IMO. I get that it’s tough to beat out those big names though.
  8. I had a roommate in college who went home one weekend for his brother’s birthday, and then came back to school bragging about how he did “smokable cocaine” all night long with his buds. I think it took him all semester to shake that one. 😆
  9. Yeah, I get it. I guess there were just too many unknowns in this flick for my liking. I have read that this was intended by the author of the book. Although apparently the ending in the book is different than the end of the movie. I really want to know what that horrific noise was. 😂
  10. The concept of the movie is actually incredibly interesting, IMO. They totally f’ed up the story line and the ending. It was like the final episode of The Sopranos, but worse. I didn’t have a problem with the characters.
  11. I actually enjoyed it…up until the ending. What the hell was that crap?
  12. I’ve given some thought to this as well. Not to mention that edibles are metabolized by the liver. I know people who eat 100-150 mg per day. The possibility of unknown longitudinal effects is kinda scary.
  13. I never buy flower at the dispensaries. It’s always a little dried out, and usually more expensive than what I can get from my dude here in town. They don’t properly handle the bud in the dispensaries.
  14. First time I encountered it was my freshman year of college. Never in HS. I’ve done a little bit here and there. I think the last time was at a wedding down in Florida about 10-15 years ago. I’m not a fan. Never been. But I will say that doing a little bump to keep the party going is much different than sitting around doing lines. It’s an ugly drug for sure. I recently almost lost a good friend who got a “bad bag” laced with Fentanyl. He’s the type of guy that will do it 2-3 times a year. My wife literally brought him back to life by performing CPR. He is very lucky. If you’re going to dabble….know your dealer!
  15. Christmas is by far my least favorite holiday. My wife and I both have “tricky” family situations, and visiting for the holidays (especially traveling from VT to Syracuse) can be absolutely draining. It’s always such a relief to get back home.
