  1. Not real is it? ?‍♂️
  2. Taxes are bad. Wait till the majorities in the state legislature push through Medicare for All and the highest bracket goes up to 16%.
  3. So, I actually wouldn’t be horrified if something like this was done. Especially if the Bills got Williams also and drafted some receiving playmakers. Then got rid of Shady.
  4. Please no for the Bills.
  5. They had to scramble to combat the Gore signing!
  6. Basically Beane swapped Ivory out for Gore, at no cost at all, and you have Mensa members on here throwing in the towel on the season. Hah!
  7. Hah!!! Reality: Small contract to add some depth Bills Fans: 10yr, $85m deal, all guaranteed.
  8. Seems like a solid signing. Good work. Quality depth is critical in the NFL, especially at CB.
  9. Lol @ Raiders.
  10. Please no. Mostly because of the reactions from fans.
  11. Generally speaking, I put people who make fun of buffalo into two camps: 1) ignorant - they’ve never been to Buffalo and just parrot things they’ve heard. 2) Wildly insecure - they have a serious inferiority complex and try to make themselves feel better by telling themselves and others that the way they live and place they live is somehow superior and more fulfilling than people who live in other places. In my experience, the more condescending and nasty people are, the more likely they fall into the second cohort.
  12. Uh, no. Meaning if they focus on themselves and their needs and their plan, they will do well. I’m not even suggesting they are not in fact doing that. But many fans here have a weird obsession with the Patriots. The only thing that matters with the Patriots are: 1) how long will Brady play and play well 2) how long will Billy B coach 3) what kind of trouble will Kraft be in for hiring sex trafficked prostitutes at 50 bucks a pop.
  13. I really don’t care what the Pats do. Bills need to worry about themselves. Do that and they will be just fine.
  14. Bummer. Was hoping the Bills could have gotten Zeitler.
  15. And why does everyone assume it has to do with the city itself. There really isn’t a big difference between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Buffalo. If you really think that, then clearly you haven’t been to many places or have a incurable case of self-hate.
  16. So, without going through the entire 50+ pages, is this what happened? bills and Steelers basically had an offer in place. Brown nixed it because, “he didn’t want to play in buffalo”, and is going to Cleveland instead? How is this a bad look for the Bills or Buffalo? Beane obviously is doing good things to make things happen. Brown looks bad here if anyone. Fans really need to grow up and stop being so thin skinned about this “Buffalo stigma”. Who cares if someone doesn’t want to live/play here. It’s not for everyone, but it’s a great place for many.
  17. not a single person is arguing that he’s the answer at TE! Reasonable people are saying that for the right contract, he’d be a nice addition to the TE ranks because he’s a great blocker and can catch and score TDs. But that the Bills obviously need much more of a dynamic playmaker at TE, ALSO. Sometimes on this board it’s like discussions devolve into a binary, either or, black and white construct when it clearly doesn’t call for it. Its like someone going to a restaurant and thinking if you get an appetizer that means you can’t have an entree or dessert or a drink. ?
  18. There are 4 teams he’s already getting interest from just days after being cut. He’s an excellent blocker and has shown an ability to make catches and get in the end zone. He’s a very good TE2. Definitely not camp fodder. This seems pretty straightforward and easy to understand.
  19. I get this sentiment, but signing Allen doesn’t mean the Bills can’t sign or draft any more TEs. In fact, they will have to.
  20. Im sure some will speculate the money was too high. 1yr, $80m deal?
  21. Maybe he means signing an hybrid type player that was used in a different position with his current team. A strong safety or an undersized interior lineman? That’s all I got for “creative”
  22. Agree. I’d take Steve Smith in that fight, no brainer. He’d dodge a slow haymaker then get inside and bundle Jackson. Once on the ground, TJ is in the hospital.
  23. Just to set some standards for consistency sake, a few questions: 1) how many years grace period does a team have from their last “playoff win”? 2) is playoff win the best indicator of success or failure in your view, or are there other, better metrics? 3) Do current owners/front offices/coaching/players own the history of the team before they arrived?
  24. “McDermott's premise was that for sustained success, they have to be able to put up 21-plus points consistently.” Joe B says it right here. This is the point. Maybe McD said it in a clumsy way, but the point is they need to score a lot more. I think it’s very obvious what he means.
