    Hmmmm, I’ll give it a shot: Jets trade back a couple spots, pick up a 2 and 3 and still get someone like Josh Allen or Quinnen Williams. Bills panic and take Dillard at 9 Dolphins take Oliver Pats take Fant and trade a 3rd rounder for Rosen

    That’s a lot of IFs and you can apply that to anybody. Would you rather have a perennial all pro penetrating DT, EDGE rusher, LT, TE, WR or Guard. I get what you are saying but you’re assuming that everyone else available at that spot won’t be good and he will. I think that’s a generous assumption.

    They’d get skipped for a pick so I think they’d lose the benefits of a first round pick, so the 5th year option and the like. Interesting thought though, seriously. Maybe there is a benefit that could be exploited.
