i've always wondered why teams never did that - a shotgun or long snap through the qb. or directional snap. i was a long snapper and emergency center - it wasn't hard to snap the ball like this.

I think a lot of fans are misguided with how many of these athletes may care. This is their job and while they strive to be the best and are premier athletes many do not care enough to hold this grudge or do anything more than show up to work and put the effort in no different than you or I when we run a costing analysis report. Beyond that, Jackson is a tremendous athlete but i, personally, don't see him as the most mentally intelligent/strong guy. His 2024 season was maybe his best. He saw the field better than he ever had and made better decisions than ever before. But that offense is tailored to fit him, has Henry there to mitigate the errors and burden on Jackson. He has the chance to win a super bowl with the talent he has. He did last year. He does this year. I think between him and Harbaugh they'll fall short unless the defense can take them home. That'll be a tall task with Burrough, Allen, Mahomes, and whoever else creeps up this year in the NFL. Maybe Stroud. QB1 outplayed QB2 despite QB1 having better stats for yards, completions, touchdowns, run yards he lost... He also had more ints and fumbles but he is definitely better than QB2. His argument was like one of the neighborhood kids trying to tell me how Jackson is better than Allen. It's hilarious.
