  1. i honestly hope he does something with his career. Poyer was a bit of a free safety before he came here; i think rapp has some ability to play the role of a free safety in a nickel package because the way our defense works. either way, i am curious to bring him in because he betters the roster.
  2. we need a free safety....
  3. i don't live under a rock. i enjoy her early music. i keep up to date on the world. i find it interesting your insult insinuates that ignorance on this topic is preferred vs. knowledge when criticizing. sorry, i don't pride myself in ignorance. rather, i would choose to speak on what i know to make my opinions vs what i can only guess or make up. kind of interesting, don't you think? i know what i am talking about and can say i enjoy her music. i can say i do not know her and she does not have an impact on my life - this can also be true. logic is difficult for some. intelligence is uninteresting to others.
  4. how quickly we forget... Mozart Chopan Pavarotti Or groups like KISS Nirvana Zepelin Doors Queen True icons are more than a 20 year run. Madonna is the only female I can think of that has spanned more than 3 decades with her prevalence. Will Taylor still have the popularity she does in 20 years like the Dead? The Beatles? Elvis? I did not say that it is a recent phenomenom but the cultish following that is this absurd is more recent and prevalent than other points in history. This is what I was getting at in my first point. In 2040 we are not going to be hearing her most recent album being cited as something like the Zeppelin albums, etc. I doubt we are still singing anything but her bubblegum early pop stuff pre 1989 album after the year 2030. Shake It Off, Bad Blood, We Are Never Ever, Ever Getting Back Together, Love Story, and maybe...maybe Our Song will be the only lasting ones we sing. A few like Mean and Never Grow up will last longer than Cruel Summer, Who's Afraid of Little Me, You Need To Calm down... Anything off of Lover, Reputation, Folklore post her 1989 album... will be gone. Those before 1989 like Red, Speak Now had the best stuff people will remember.
  5. i like this point for early in the season for a few reasons. our depth guys early and often can be utilized to take reps when guys are fresh. the defense plays most of the entire game and does not sub like corners or safeties. sure, in the beginning of the season they're the healthiest they may ever be in the season but they're not going to be able to take guys running flare routes. the first quarter or half i hope we just send guys down field over the top of the Ravens defense even if we run it or throw under routes. i want to stretch them out and put the long routes on film for other teams - especially because long route schemes and plays are only so limited. we won't reveal too much if we just send Samuel, Coleman, Shakir, Kincaid, Moore, Palmer deep every route. In this I want to put Kincaid in positions where Josh will feel comfortable just pushing him the ball with no risks. Josh already has it in his head that he did not trust Kincaid enough because his words were that he did not find him last year. I want to make it easy for Josh to find Kincaid every play but at the same time give him someone downfield +20 every play.
  6. i'm guessing you're like 12. lol the inflated ticket prices and all of that isn't impressive to me. the rolling stones in the early 2000's and again in the 10's had an incredible tour. in my mid 40's i can remember a few giant tours like Bruce Springsteen, several Rolling Stones tours, Elton John, U2 Pink Floyd, MJ... MJ alone did like $150mm in 89 alone. That's when ticket prices were still like $35 - not $350 for nosebleed Swift tickets. Comparing todays venues with ticketmaster and over inflated prices on such things to yesteryear is like comparing a Range Rover to a Model T.
  7. It is hard to swallow but we need to limit his snaps. If we had other guys who can fill in at a lot that'd be cool but for now we gotta use packages to pull him out and keep him right. If we are going to run we need to use the rookie TE more, Kincaid block a tiny bit. Even move Coleman to slot when we need a hard conversion.
  8. Holy batshit crazy balls This is hardly true. Sure the revenue was there but it is subjective. Quantity doesn't equal quality. As a tour, sure it was huge and popular. It was a masterful performance. She can put on a helluva show and I remember back almost 10-12 years ago when I wouldn't back down to @Buftex about her talent and career to exceed Beyonce saying she has more talent (she does, her art is far more popular). But, by individual accounts it's all subjective. Her tour was ginormous but doesn't mean it was the best.
  9. We need to tap the last two or three years out of this guy. His size mixed with vulnerability playing the slot gives him a narrow window to tap. He's not as stout or thick as someone like Cooper Kupp. Protect him as best we can and hope we get 3 more years of high productivity. [Then trade him or let him go for comps]
  10. Lol that's funny. Thanks I forgot who bills time was before way back and the original but fun to see he's still around
  11. Um. I'm not pro life. I dont. Even know what incarnate you are or used to be or whatever. Just to get that straight... You're wasting your time
  12. He's been in the league 12 years. I respectfully disagree he's not found success
  13. A jag who knows our system and can play multiple roles: RB, TE, and iirc long snapper. Also a good special reamer.
  14. you're correct. we drafted him. he joins a long list of drafted kickers that went on to great success. Gary Anderson, Dustin Hopkins, Pete Gogolak all left buffalo to have long careers.
  15. not sure who to quote here but it's a paradox. while it is great for the players to have a family atmosphere and have such a high standing calibre of teammates it is also about building a football team. that football team is not always going to be boy scouts. you will rasheed rice, ray lewis, and others. this is not a complaint, per se, as i cheer for the laundry while i appreciate some players for who they are and what they offer the community. anyone being anything more than not a bad guy is good enough.
  16. Matthew wright is also available He and Dustin hopkins will be Looking for a starting role. I think these opportunities are for practice squad. To either or both: 1) break glass if needed 2) use in practice to cut down on reps for t.bass
  17. You're talking to roundabout. He isn't going to be able to form a reply to you. He's going to avoid a discussion. The problem is that trans people are mostly victims. Victims of a system not trying to help their mental health or do anything more than simply affirm their lostlessness in society. Of the dozens of trans people I've met I think I can count 3 that simply are defined as trans. Like, honest to goodness trans. They realize their actual gender and don't hide it necessarily because that is who they truly are but their version of themselves is happiest as the opposite gender. The other 99.9% of the less than .75% of the world is so small yet so loud it's sad.
  18. To be fair that person is extremely rare and while genetically male by hormones she was/is by all accounts female. This does actually happen. Intersexed is a thing and I'm about 1 of 1000 births, iirc.
  19. Why are people so god damned ######ed? The GOP needs to label a bill "free health care for puppies and orphans" then make it about anything but... This mental health care bill was not about true healthcare. It was about what the government said healthcare would be. ... Protecting troons, groomers, enabling the state to impact more of our free choice. The day a democrat can tell anyone what a woman is will be a step in the right direction of making anyone believe the liberal party understands mental health.
  20. How does his commitment to the US Army work?
  21. the browns QB room.
  22. i wish these rivalry things went about as far as you could go. like totally offensive. for the jets they could feature tuna nets or mri scans of Tua's head. for the fins they could put a picture of a random september day about 24 years ago. that'd be a heated rivalry statement right there.
  23. i thought that (about davidson) but hope that is not the case. i am sure the team has a lot of editorial ability with the product which waters it down tremendously but i would like to think that the show is more of a documentary vs a reality show. i don't need real world. i need a hungry lion stalking a baby giraffe because it is feast or famine. either way, i am surprised that Davidson didn't earn a spot over anyone else. i expect he will be on a roster as a TE somewhere. i figured he or quinton morris would be on the PS since Morris was cut by the Saints. maybe i am partial because he is a BGSU falcon but i liked him. i'm a sucker for the MAC schools because they are fun to watch and almost as good as the Big 10. they're a lot better than the redneck schools of hillbillies and criminals of the SEC.
  24. hope they're dumb enough to wear these at home week 2 or 3. ***** the fish
  25. Watched it last night. It's not that it's painfully boring it is that there is only so much story to tell with many of these guys. It dawned on me last night I guess. If you followed me around at work on a given day I'd not be so keen to want to put myself out there for your amusement. These guys are at work. Many of them don't care about the cameras or nonsense. They want to make a living. I also don't get the whole smittenness of Zach Davidson. They really hyped him up and showed the coaches and Beane loving him. Only to cut him. I wonder if there is a disconnect between the organization and the show. To put that many quality statements out there with the guy in the show to make us think the org loved him... To cut him.
