It's a quote from an interview with a wrestler It still takes a toll on the body, the mind, and spirit among other things...
-
it was from the 80's. it's not perfect but i remember hearing it close enough. wrestler was talking about real struggles in life

Sadly no one gets this

the question should be does the floor of ogajobi rival that of jordan phillips? the coaches seem to think so.

that is going to be the downfall of the whole NCAA. I hope. the NIL is disgusting.

that's offense. the MAC has produced many quality offensive nfl players. Since 2000, the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Year award has been given to a wide range of talented players, including quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers. Notable past winners who went on to have successful NFL careers include Ben Roethlisberger and Randy Moss. Here is a list of the MAC Offensive Player of the Year winners from 2000 to the present: Offensive Players of the Year (2000-Present) 2024: Harold Fannin Jr., TE, Bowling Green 2023: Peny Boone, RB, Toledo 2022: Kurtis Rourke, QB, Ohio 2021: Lew Nichols, RB, Central Michigan 2020: Jaret Patterson, RB, Buffalo 2019: LeVante Bellamy, RB, Western Michigan 2018: Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo 2017: Logan Woodside, QB, Toledo 2016: Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan 2015: Matt Johnson, QB, Bowling Green State 2014: Jarvion Franklin, RB, Western Michigan 2013: Jordan Lynch, QB, Northern Illinois 2012: Jordan Lynch, QB, Northern Illinois 2011: Chandler Harnish, QB, Northern Illinois 2010: Chad Spann, RB, Northern Illinois 2009: Dan LeFevour, QB, Central Michigan 2008: Nate Davis, QB, Ball State 2007: Dan LeFevour, QB, Central Michigan 2006: Garrett Wolfe, RB, Northern Illinois 2005: Greg Jennings, WR, Western Michigan 2004: Omar Jacobs, QB, Bowling Green State 2003: Ben Roethlisberger, QB, Miami (OH) 2002: Byron Leftwich, QB, Marshall 2001: Byron Leftwich, QB, Marshall 2000: Robert Sanford, RB, Western Michigan In that time there were several that are not listed. Roethlisberger, randy Moss, Antonion Brown, Joe Staley, Julian Edelman, Eric Fisher, Greg Jennings, Michael Turner, Kareem Hunt, Leftwihch, Pennington, Lance Moore, Josh Cribbs, Corey Davis, Chester Taylor, Travis Prentice, Reggie Gilliam, quinton morris, josh harris, Diontae Johnson. The MAC is a powerful force on offense.

MAC Defensive Players of the Year (2005-2024) 2024: Shaun Dolac, LB, Buffalo 2023: Matthew Salopek, LB, Miami (OH) 2022: Jose Ramirez, DL, Eastern Michigan 2021: Ali Fayad, DL, Western Michigan 2020: Troy Hairston, DE, Central Michigan & Brandon Martin, LB, Ball State (tie) 2019: Treshaun Hayward, LB, Western Michigan 2018: Sutton Smith, DE, Northern Illinois 2017: Sutton Smith, DE, Northern Illinois 2016: Tarell Basham, DL, Ohio 2015: Jatavis Brown, LB, Akron 2014: Quinten Rollins, DB, Miami (OH) 2013: Khalil Mack, LB, Buffalo 2012: Chris Jones, DL, Bowling Green 2011: Drew Nowak, DL, Western Michigan 2010: Roosevelt Nix, DL, Kent State 2009: Adrian Robinson, DL, Temple 2008: Larry English, DL, Northern Illinois 2007: Clayton Mullins, LB, Miami (OH) 2006: Ameer Ismail, LB, Western Michigan 2005: Dan Bazuin, DL, Central Michigan And I greatly respect the MAC, having played (well, ran) briefly in the conference. But this is 100% true. Only one of them in the first round had a big career, Mack. English went in the first round but only 5-6 years in the league. Beyond Mack, Jason Taylor and James Harrison (walk on at Kent no less) are the 3 biggest MAC defenders in the NFL of all time

I wonder if Jalen Virgil is worth PS at this point? It has to be difficult being in a front office trying to figure out who is worth the spot as a security blanket veteran in your system vs a young gun with something to prove.
-
Just 10 years ago we would be dreaming to sign him to start for us. My how far we've come.
-
Sure, when you wake up from your nap... Get your rest crabby pants. 🤣

This stojan / Simon thing was the juice we needed to spice up the pre season finale.
-
He's gonna be a martyr for the systemic treatment of the Sanders family in the NFL.

Lol goofball douche

Lamar Jackson can be folded up and put away in about anytime.
-
I will not be thrilled if Jackson gets a ring before Allen. The ridicule of Allen will be ridiculous despite Jackson being surrounded by much better talent.
-
I don't think their defense will sustain success. It'll be partially the fault of their offense. And maybe I'm just relying on historical data, but they'll lose embarrassingly and win gloriously a few games. But when it's time to put up or shut up against top-tier opponents they struggle, and when it gets the playoffs they struggle. Everybody talks about how great their coaching is, everybody talks about how Lamar is the two or three-time MVP or something like that, everybody talks about all of these names on this team and it doesn't mean a damn thing. Perhaps they do hoist the Lombardi trophy this year, then they can get some credit. But for the last six or seven years all they've ever done is embarrass themselves when it counts.
-
Well *****, let's just forfeit our games because they have all these names we've heard of. I don't think they're stacked, I think they're going to be one of the top five teams in the league. But I guarantee they will choke.
-
... Stacked how? Their defense has a bunch of JAGs in the front 7 with a long in the tooth Roquan Smith. In the backfield they have Jaire Alexander who's not *****. Marlon Humphrey who is underappreciated but not anything more than above average, Kyle Hamilton who is really good but also hyped because he carries the hype from his draft rating. Their defense is seriously overrated, and oddly underrated at the same time. In ,2024 these players gelled tremendously to be an effective and efficient unit. It'll be tough to reproduce that losing their 2nd best CB, and get that same over amped production. On offense I respect their OL but it's a product of Jackson being mobile and defenses countering Henry. Zay Flowers is very capable but oft injured. Hopkins didn't amount to much. Bateman is a good 3rd WR. Andrews is aging. Likely is a good 2nd TE. But, it all runs through Jackson. He's a deck chair in moments. Make or break. Because the Bills have their number when it matters I don't really factor their offense as that important. Their team has talent, almost all of it on offense. Raiders.🫣
-
That's my point. No one team is truly a juggernaut in the league right now.
-
Hey do you know any bankers?
-
Of course so why are the Ravens vaunted is my point. A flip of a call here or there and Cinci is in their playoff spot. Or Pittsburgh.
-
Ravens are pedestrian. The eeked out wins against Dallas and Cincinnati (twice), the Chargers and Commanders should have been able to beat them. They lose to a struggling dottering Chiefs team, the browns, ravens, raiders. They were a good team in 2024. But they were hardly the team they should have been; at least by the hype they got. ... Derrick. My bad.
