  1. I've held onto the Bills-Fins rivalry for a long time as one of my best buddies is a Fins fan. However, it's been a long time since I've felt that rivalry really exists in any anywhere outside of the two of us. I'd love to see it return if just so I could say that the Pats* are dropping back in the AFC East.
  2. Can't argue with this statement at all. We seem to, overwhelmingly, all like him and want him as a Bill, but Doug and Rex don't share our view. Wherever he goes, I wish him the best. In his limited time as a Bill, he really became a "Buffalo guy", and I have nothing but respect for the way he has handled himself since his signing last Spring.
  3. All class Ice. I've always said that if someone ever took the Bills out of Buffalo ( thank you Terry!) I'd cheer on the team with the most similar market and passion in their fanbase...GB. Hope you guys have a great year and figure out how to kick the Seattle curse.
  4. Still wish the charging Buffalo faced the front, but it is a pretty kick-ass ride regardless.
  5. And then he and Chandler jump into the Pile of celebrating Bills and each flips Bellichek the bird screaming "played you b@&$h!". A guy can dream......
  6. Completely what I am seeing too. The middle three spots on that line were the weakest links in the run game by a long shot. The best runs on the season were sprung by tackles getting out ahead of the runner, not Wood or any of the guards that were employed beside him. Wood, though reputedly a great teammate and person, has never been a standout, but being serviceable this coming season would be an improvement over last year. I'm not overly concerned about Glenn, as he had to make-up for the guy to his right far too often, and Seantrel was a rookie that showed as much promise as Eric Fisher did in his rookie season in KC. I don't know if anyone saw his second season, but if Henderson can improve even half as much as Fisher did between year one and two, we have a gamer at RT.
  7. When the company man tweets it, you know it 's on like a mofo. At least that started with a completion.
  8. Jerks, but we'd be applauding OBD if the roles were reversed. This TE situation is really a mess. I wouldn't be surprised if Gresham was the next TE.
  9. His contract has 2 years left. 35 is still an acceptable age for a guard. I can't think of another guard that approaches his level of play that has a HC willing to trade him. Evans is good, Mathis is excellent.
  10. Between him and Willis, I think we are seeing a shift in philosophies. Players now really are valuing long-term health more than the "glory" of playing in the NFL
  11. Well, Chan's team missed the playoffs that year and Rex's went to the AFC championship. I'm into that party....but I still want Fred on the Bills.
  12. True story. I've led them to two straight Super Bowl wins and EJ is my QB
  13. Yes, having not started, the bills are not done. Cart before the horse?
  14. Locker is probably a long shot unless EJ does end up getting cut. He is going to want some certainty in regards to the competition and, barring him being told that they are cutting ties with EJ, having Cassel and Manuel on the roster doesn't offer much certainty on his place on the depth chart.
  15. I see him as a mentor with the opportunity to start should EJ falter. Despite EJ's shortcomings, I really want him to succeed and have his obvious hard work pay off. Cassel has played on winning teams and witnessed the work habits of one of the ...pains me to write it or even think it....greatest QB's of all time in Brady. Passing his knowledge on to Manuel can only be a good thing.
  16. I looked at the thread title about 5 times today and resisted the urge to click. Why did I finally give in?
  17. I won't deny that Leroi has come through with some scoops, bit looks to be opinion based. Cutting EJ is bad on so many levels and I cannot see Whaleydoing it. EJ is working his tail off to get better and was given no help by the Marrone/Hackett regime. Cutting him this early would give question to the sanity of this FO and coaching staff.
  18. Cheering for the Browns to win this matchup. We have to know that if he chooses to sign in Cleveland, he was looking for a squad with far lower expectations than the Bills. #notawinner (yes, I know hashtags don't work here)
  19. I'll take it as a positive, whether it's a $ play or not. When Justin Houston says he wants ti go to the Bills, then there is news. Dare to dream.....
  20. Man, we have got some real gems on this forum. You should see how little $2milliion gets you in my neck of the woods. Google Vancouver, BC or Victoria, BC real estate and see what overpriced really is. That place would be in multiple offers the day it was listed here with a location and amenities like that relative to what we have.
  21. You had me up until Suh. Really? That man is an absolute terror. He is in the top 3 dlinemen in the NFL in my books.
  22. In a heartbeat. Depth and competition are required. He has shown to be better than any of the Bills guards over the past two seasons.
  23. I think the hate for Seattle and Hawks fans is ridiculous. I've been going to Hawks games for 15 years and have enjoyed the experience every time. The fans, overall, are great and very knowledgeable. They are respectful when they find out I'm a Bills fan. The team has been great to watch for the last 4 years and has had good runs before that . Seattle is also an awesome city. Uhhhh, yeah, I'm excited for the game. I'd love to see the Hawks roll over the stinking filth that is the Patriots.
