  1. Skins. The team is a nightmare in all aspects. Bad ownership, coaching, players, management, drama and name. If Snyder truly loved that team, he'd sell it to someone with a clue and cheer them on from the security of his home. He acts like he hates his own team and city. I guess that he's so power hungry that he's blinded by it. He's worse thanAl Davis at his worst because at least Al had championships to back him up.
  2. I was actually surprised that they brought Tanney onto the PS instead of Phillip Sims (Alabama, not Matt's old man).
  3. I see what you posted, but it's your signature that gives me a smile. Being a grammar policeman is a full-time job. The "Could of, Would of, and Should of" thing gets me every time. It's have or 've!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. May I present to you an excercise known as planking? You do a 6 minute plank and your abs will not feel like a second more.
  5. Oh, I didn't say that he was a quality commodity, just one that you knew what he was going to give you. I don't know if Trent was the right analogy based on what we saw with Meh in the preseason, but mid-grade (below the Alex Smith's and Ryan Tannehill category) game-manager would be a fitting description. He wasn't going to win a Super Bowl and Tyrod and EJ deliver an immense degree of hope whereas Meh gave you a sense of mediocrity.
  6. Man, did we have to go the sexual route with this?
  7. This post can only go in the stickied "positive" thread. This thread is for QB bashing and the bashing of fellow posters. That's more fun and aggravating than actually just being a fan that supports the team through thick and thin. Maybe it's the amount of thin we've endured, but this board gets testier and testier by the year..... I get you FireChan. EJ is an unproven commodity. Yes, he has played 14 games, but that really got us nowhere. Cassel was a proven commodity, just without the upside. Let's hope we don't have to find out what we lost in not keeping Cassel, but up until his release I really loved the idea of being on this high wire with a safety net.
  8. 263 yards passing 19/26 2 tds 0ints 48 yards on the ground Call me an optimist, but I calculated what his preseason would have looked like had he played full games and bumped up the passing numbers a bit to account for having a healthy wr group to throw to and Shady keeping defenses honest. That would be a pretty nice debut right there.
  9. Not Ponder. I watched him attempt to play quarterback in Oakland in the PS and his days are numbered. He was like our Trentative for Minny. Teased a few decent games, but never really developed into a NFL qb. I hate saying it, but if one of EJ or Tyrod go down, Cassell is the best option. Whether he would come back after being cut, I don't know.
  10. That's fair and I'd have to agree with him. I think we all saw that this guy can be a solid contributor if put into the right situation. Carolina and the 9ers should be at his door trying to get him on their 53.
  11. I'd recommend giving Dana White a shout.
  12. Who's left at Guard right now? Whaley must be slamming down f5 on the Waiver wire.
  13. i find the Dead lyrics to be one of the highlights of Bill's list every week, but I may be in the minority here. Regardless, I have greatly appreciated these lists in the pre-season. Go Bills!
  14. Developmental? Are you talking Karlos and Bryce? Do you get the sense that Karlos is developmental? I get the sense that he is a rookie with an immense possibility of making big contributions to this team if/when he's healthy. And Bryce is a4th year pro that has had a bad case of fumblitis. I don't think that he is a developmental player though, just one that needs to hold on to the damn ball.
  15. Lockett is unreal fast. Mario Kart: http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/seahawks/richard-sherman-asks-for-tyler-lockett-mario-kart-mashup-the-internet-answers/
  16. As much as I want to say 9-0, your offering is just as plausible. I think we split w/ MIA and sweep the Jets. The Cincy game is a tough call, as is the Colts game. The Colts D looks horrendous in preseason, but it is preseason. I'm gonna go Colts W Pats W Mia W NY W Titans W Bengals L Jag W Mia L Jets W 7-2
  17. I was extremely hapy to wake up to this news. The Hawks are my NFC squad and I am going to a few games. I get to see Freddy and will definitely be wearing my Bills #22 to both games. That being said, the Hawks Oline is a disaster and I really would be amazed if they were even close to a SB team because of it. When I say mess, I mean that the last years Bills line with Pears starting at C and Richardson at G might actually be a massive improvement. They look terrible right now. Freddy is going to have his work cut out for him as a blocker.
  18. No big surprises. Thought Seale might last longer than Cierre Wood, but they were both brought in to be cut inevitably anyways.
  19. Truth? Cassel. Knows his limitations, his role and the playbook and puts in the time and effort to be the best that he can be. RGIII is a qb that loses you games, Cassel is a qb that can help you control them.
  20. Is it? In this world, as much as we want it to be different, race is a big part of what effects perceptions. I want the best qb, but if you have three qb's who offer me an equal chance to win, I want to play with the one that I relate to and who relates to me the best. That's the same in the workplace. Don't take this from a caucasian perspective. As an African-American ( or a racial minority in general), you have had to overcome perceptions and inequalities. This is inevitable. If your team leader is someone that has overcome these as well to reach a high degree of success, are you or are you not more likely to relate to that individual based on those premises? If, in turn, that same team leader is a high performer with strong leadership, does that not automatically draw you in even closer? Just my two cents, but worth discussing nonetheless.
  21. 100% accurate. But, the performers right now are TT and EJ. Cassell can't be a WR or RB favourite though. He draws no attention as a threat to run and doesn't put the WR's in a position to make the big plays that they love to make and that win games. It's not a matter of race, it's a matter of leading and Cassell isn't inspiring the tropps with his play.
  22. the scheme is obviously much improved, but EJ has been so on the money with his passes that you can't disregard the impact his accuracy has had. Based on his historical play, does this not lead you to believe that his new coaches have played a part in fixing his flaws that led to his inaccuracies?
