  1. Beauty post. Good for a solid chuckle.
  2. Bills 24 Packers 21 30 seconds left, Pack is driving. Gilmore picks off Rodgers on a toss to Nelson. I saw it in a dream.
  3. The only upgrade at QB that will be available and I see as being worth the risk is Bradford. He's been fragile, but I've been trying to watch film of his from past seasons, not highlight reels, and I think he actually has "it". The arm and accuracy are there and his eyes are far from slow. If it's a 3rd or 4th that the Rams are seeking, I'd bite.
  4. Offseason wish list- guards and a new OC. I am over Orton, but fix the first two and he's serviceable.
  5. No. Sammy was still a good pick, but he needs to play smarter and tougher.
  6. Hack-it is not an offensive genius. This team needs one of those. Brutal calls on 3rd and 4th down. #lackofinnovation
  7. Have u seen the Hawks oline? This is not a good idea at all. Jump to Conclusions mat level of bad idea.
  8. We can live in the past or move forward with the star we see on the Bills today in Sammy. Odell does look good, but Sammy is and was the surest thing at WR in the 2014 draft.
  9. Draft Kyle Prater. He fell apart at USC after being seen as a star out of high school. This guys route running and hands are awesome and he is supremely athletc. Turn on the NW vs ND game and see. Very impressed.
  10. Desperation has set in. I think the only answer is to have EJ and Kyle both get 1st team reps until Wednesday. Let the best man play. If EJ wants to "let loose", let him loose. Because letting KO lose is not a better option.
  11. Kevin Arnold. Wore a Jets jacket forever. Witnessed great leadership in his father. And, what could be better for the Jets than bringing back the Wonder Years?
  12. Based on the comments in this thread, some people devalue divisional wins? That defies any and all logic. To be honest, based on theBills remaining schedule and that of the teams they need to overtake in the race to the playoffs, they need to sweep November. Once December hits, a world of top5 teams awaits. Winning one vs DEN, GB on NE will be fortunate and not expected.
  13. I didn't want to click on this thread, but I did. Stupid, stupid me. Luck, Rodgers or Wilson. that's it. the first two are no brainers. I watch a lot of Seahawks games and Wilson is electric, engaging and can make big plays with his arm and his legs. He's a natural leader and has a super bowl pedigree. I love Sammy and never want to see him in another uniform, but any FO would be stupid not to listen when offered any top 5 qb for a rookie wr, albeit an incredible one.
  14. Do you honestly think Marrone is that spiteful? Could it not be that he thought it better to keep Richardson in there for the long-term development of the line? It wasn't happening quick enough so he made a move. Just my $0.02CAD.
  15. While the sum of the parts is impressive, I beg to differ. Dareus has stood out. Being double teamed and still getting into the backfield, accumulating sacks and hurries and stopping the run has really made people realize that he is at the top of the DT talent pool. Losing talent has been a Bills specialty, but lets hope that doesn't happen with Dareus.
  16. Based completely on the eyeball test, this Jets team stacks up well vs the Bills on defense and very poorly on offense. If KO and the offense put up 20 ormore, it's a lock. Hopefully Urbik is the tonic that cures much of the oline issues because the Jets dline, much like the Bills', is scary good. If the oline buys KO time, the Jets secondary is a ragtag group that will get killed by the Bills WRs. But, those who say that Geno sucks are right. The Bills better win this one. Better O, similar dline, superior LB's and secondary. It all may come down to coaching......@$#* we are screwed
  17. Watch more than one Hawks game a year. Sherman is on an island for 9/10 plays. I don't believe he's in the conversation for greatest ever, but he's an awesome CB. And yes, ET and Cam don't hurt his play.
  18. Cardinals over Raiders. 5-1 vs the craptastic Raiders. Nuff said.
  19. Great piece Dave. I appreciated a good morning chuckle. Let's hope that whoever the Pegulas decide to hire to do an analysis of the football ops figures out the issues in a hurry. I hate going through coaches every few seasons, but Marrone hasn't shown the ability to get the most out of a very talented squad. If there is an available innovative and aggressive OC out there, that may fix a big part of the problem and give Marrone another season to right the ship. The issue is that I haven't heard a single name mentioned that would realistically come over to serve under Marrone. If the Bills want an innovative OC, he's likely going to have to be the head coach.
  20. Did you watch Kouandjio in pre-season? The most lost player on the line by a wide margin. He got beat on every play and I mean that literally. Unless you sit in on practices, you are making an extremely uneducated statement. If you had said Urbik, you would have had a leg to stand on. Urbik has proven to be a legitimate NFL guard. Not an elite one, but an average one which places him above Pears. Since the tackles are,IMHO, long-term bookends, the LG is a rookie showing improvement weekly and the Center has proven to be historically average, we should at least see an average line by improving the RG spot with Urbik.
  21. Has anyone besides me watched him play? No, no, no. He's done absolutely nothing in the NFL, especially for a #1 overall pick. He's far too often injured and is scared of being hit on every play. His big extension was a massive mistake by the Rams. It's not my $, but $15 million next year makes him the most overpaid player in the league and I'd hate to see the Bills as the ones that wasted it.
  22. A first year OC with a purely offendive-minded Head Coach? Way too early to put him up for HC status. As beloved as he is in Buffalo, Reich still needs some seasoning. Names to watch will be Kubiak, Pep Hamilton and Greg Roman. IMHO, of course.
  23. That would be amusing. Seattle had a WR named Mike Williams three seasons ago. You may remember him as the 1st rounder Tampa gave up on. Deja vu?
