A couple of years ago I saw a homeless guy wearing a Miami Dolphins Thurman Thomas jersey. My first thoughts were who bought that and then who threw it away?
According to Carlos, Musburger never apologized:
Musburger is just horrible. I was standing at a bar ten feet away when Jimmy the Greek punched him. I was never one for violence, but my first thought was he probably deserved that.
Every year teams that are supposed to be bad are good and teams that are supposed to be good are bad. Let’s hope the Bills are one of the former and some opponents are the latter.
I was at a meeting recently and some guy was blah blahing about accomplishments. He said “no one rembers who succeeded Bear Bryant at Alabama”, I looked up and said “Ray Perkins”.
So the Bills are really the Braves? I’m so confused, didn’t ownership of Buffalo Braves and Boston Celtics trade franchises and multiple players? Thus making the Celtics the Braves?
You’re right, the rookie salary structure makes things way less risky. Drafting a QB in top ten and having to give him a huge contract is what used to set teams back for years.
