  1. Anybody else see Sal Maiorana’s prediction for the season? He has the Bills going 12-5, losses to Ravens, okay, the Falcons? Because of their running game. Texans, okay, the Patriots? Because of Vrabel? And finally the Eagles, okay. I just don’t see the Bills losing to the Falcons and I don’t get the love for Vrabel. He had a couple of good years in Tennessee, but nothing special.
  2. Luckily it’s being played in Helsinki Sweden.
  3. He went to Yale you know. Just preparing everyone for ever time he does anything.
  4. “James Rick Cassata (born November 17, 1947) is an American former gridiron football quarterback who played seven seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) for five different teams. He led the Ottawa Rough Riders to victory in the 61st Grey Cup. He also played with The Hawaiians in the World Football League (WFL) in 1975. He played at Tonawanda High School before playing college football at Syracuse University. In 2002, he was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame.” One of our own, grew up with the Cassata family. Rick was a good friend of my brother-in-law.
  5. “Allen was hired as head coach and general manager of the Washington Redskins on January 6, 1971.”
  6. George Allen almost did. Diggs was worth the gamble, Bills could have not traded and picked WR Jalen Reagor in the 2020 draft, like the aforementioned Howie Roseman did. Extrapolation is a form of prediction, kind of like drafts. Reid and Roseman didn’t have two podcasters, that both wanted the Bills to draft Josh Rosen again questioning Beane and his staff. I knew nothing about Josh Allen, but I was pretty sure Rosen was a bum, I wanted to Jackson. Which QB did you want in that draft?
  7. Okay, you made your point, so McDermott signed Hyde And Poyer. But the original point made by Weo was that Beane has never addressed Safety in the draft, did he need to when Hyde and Poyer were in their prime? When they weren’t, which was hastened by Hyde’s injury, he drafted Bishop.
  8. Bean’s bio says he was with the Panthers from 1998-2016. McDermott was hired in January 2017, he knew he was bringing Bean to the Bills. Whaley was a lame duck they kept until after the draft. Draft ended on April 29, Whaley and his staff were fired on the 30th. Bean was announced as GM nine days later. Don’t you think that since McDermott knew Bean was going to be the GM and Bean knew he was going to be the GM, that they may have talked about free agency and the draft? Or do you think McDermott was relying on Whaley? You may recall that during that time a reporter asked Whaley what exactly his job was?or more precisely “what do you do?”
  9. Technically yes, Whaley was a lame duck that they kept until after the daft, but McDermott was making all the decisions. Bean was let go by Carolina in 2016, McDermott knew he was bringing Bean on board, do you think they didn’t talk about Hyde and Poyer?
  10. I don’t get it. By the way, the draft isn’t the only way to acquire players. Isn’t Bean the guy that signed Hyde and Poyer, who became one of the best Safety tandems in the NFL? Have you written off Bishop already? Wasn’t he a second round pick? Didn’t he trade for Diggs? He was pretty good until he wasn’t, but four good years. Didn’t Bean draft Shakir? He was second in the NFL in YAC last year. Coleman had 556 yards in thirteen games, if you extrapolate that to seventeen, he would have had what 700-750 yards? But you’ve written him off too right?
  11. Johnson sucked, Flutie was better than Johnson.
  12. That team went 4-1, the entire league and anyone watching him knew he couldn’t throw down field. A deep out? Forget it.
  13. The problem with Flutie was that the league figured him out. He was like a pitcher that once hitters got a good look they knew what he couldn’t do. I’d have to go with Fitz, he went to Harvard you know.
  14. No, Ryan was nine teams, but he was a hired gun. Clowney was the first over all pick.
  15. I did want to use the Google, but I think six or seven. Next one might be seven. That’s a lot.
  16. Can he rush the passer?
  17. Like I said defense lost that game, never should have come down to fourth and five.
  18. Should never have come to that, defense gave up 32.
  19. Defense lost those games.
  20. I think it’s the speed and the fact that Moore has played for bad teams with bad QBs. Palmer was playing with Justin Herbert. Moore can do something the Bills have been missing, which is consistently getting to the third level. His ability to do that will open up the field. Which means everyone gets to eat more. This offense could be really dangerous.
  21. Tannehill? Why would they talk to him? The Steelers moves have been head scratching and that move would continue that trend. I could careless what the Steelers do, I hope they suck forever.
  22. I would drop more than $4 bills at any bar to see a few games. It is cheaper and more comfortable to watch from the comfort of my home. That and before Sunday Ticket I used to go to a place a couple of blocks away, called Boston’s on the Beach. It got so bad with the cheap Pats fans, that the management made me sit alone in the back to watch.
  23. I read somewhere that that good WRs produce even with bad QBs.
