  1. kyle Williams will be fine. Nothing to see here. Move along.
  2. give me a break. And even if this was the truth (which it's not), the line should be set after our first round pick this year and having everyone healthy. And then u can stop your bitching. jeez, even Bill in nyc isn't too unhappy with the line anymore. Hey, but it's MY wet dream and stay out of it! ps- we WILL be in the hunt for Mario. Imagine what that would do for ticket sales.
  3. Our offense was on the verge of becoming special......until the o-line started getting injured. SO, spend the #10 pick on a left tackle, re-sign Bell and then we have depth all around on the oline and we should be able to not skip a beat if someone goes down. As for a receiver, I'd rather get one in FA along with a pass rusher, plus re-sign Chandler and then go BPA in the draft and we just might have a competitive team next season.
  4. I've always liked Lynch and am happy he is doing well, but I understand why the Bills did what they did. Can you honestly sit there and say "we" ran him out of town? He ran himself out of town. ...and now that stevie is signed, i am sure you are going to give credit where credit is due, right? damn, first Kyle Williams, then Fitzpatrick, now stevie. looks like we are starting to keep guys around. Maybe this new front office is going in the right direction?
  5. By far, the most "wonderful" post I have ever seen from you.
  6. I am convinced we will finally take an OT with our first pick(to Bill in nyc's delight)and it would be a wise pick to finally solidify that position. I can see Curry as our second pick but beyond that I am clueless.
  7. That's good news. I feel they SHOULD tag him if they have to. Even if they can't come to agreement at least that'll give us a chance to get something for him. Back to back 1000 yard seasons . Might be able to get a first for him, or an early second. bottom line whatever they get, just don't let him walk for nothing.
  8. Enjoy every friggin second of it!
  9. wow. I've been silent most of this season for half a million reasons, but for some reason your wonderful post has brought me back. Really? We re-sign our veteran kicker to a modest contract and you are going to B word? Your last line about if we have to start to rebuild again just kills me. keeping our reliable kicker makes one less hole on this team and therefore one less part of rebuilding we need to do. I really dont see a problem here. .....please see below.
  10. Bill, May I call you Bill? We ALL know your stance on Spiller so this is no surprise that you are responding to my post. CJ is on our team now. Thats just fine if you still hate the pick. It doesn't seem like anything will change your mind. But Spiller is a part of my team and I for one want him to kick ass and live up to where he was picked. Where as, and this is pure conjecture, but it seems you'd rather be right that we shouldn't have picked him than having him turn into a stud. That's your choice of course. And you know what, other than some of the guys like you that constantly harp on CJ, if he has a break out game where people say WOW, yea I think a bunch of people might change their minds about him. I can only hope. What do you hope for?
  11. Man, love for Kelsey. Love for C.J. Is this really TSW? I think this is great that Spiller is going to get some more touches. This should definitely pay some dividends and hopefully show everybody why they took him 9th. (and shutting up the naysayers would be an added bonus for me)
  12. Frickin Troll. Thanks for waking up all the haters. what a bullcrap thread. Buddy Nix is the best thing that has happened to this franchise in over a decade. Amen brother! Ain't that the truth. Excellent post. Unless you're a hater I guess.
  13. When did u graduate? I graduated in ER in 86. were you around for any of the annual little brown jug games our towns played? what a great rivalry! After pulling my hamstring in freshman football i never played again but did make it to the little brown "MUG" game. I was on the halftime drinking team which we won. ah, the good old days! They still make a great pie! ..sorry, got nothing to ad to the op
  14. Barnett is one. That's working out pretty well for us.(I don't know if he made the probowl but he did lead Greenbay in tackles a bunch of years) Look, they took a chance on merriman and it didn't work out. I believe MOST here thought it was a chance worth taking.
  15. But...but...but.........the jets have Maybin! (yea, that is sarcasm for those of you sarcasm challenged)
  16. Are u serious?... really?..... horrible idea! what would we do if freddie got hurt? Oh, Chris White will save the day. umm, ok. hmmm, 107 divided by 15 = 7.13 yards per carry. no potential there. wtf ...and further more, depth is also for when someone goes down. i don't get some of u guys.
  17. I'm usually good with the sarcasm meter, but I'm just not sure here? If it's not, just to cover myself, I must call you a TROLL! If it IS sarcasm, then nevermind.
  18. That shart is funny!.....and what is this scarying thing you speak of? sorry, just had to jump on with the others. It seemed like the right thing to do.
  19. I kinda like the QB we have right now anyways.
  20. Just ask Bill in NYC!...just kidding Bill. I know you want the OL to play well wherever we get them, and they are playing well-even our depth, so that must make you happy right? ps- this board is just horrible at getting sarcasm. what gives?
  21. I thought for sure this was going to be a Peter Pan pic but took a chance. whew. Jasper looks HUGE. It's hard not to pull for a guy like that. It sure will be a feel good story if he makes it down the line.
  22. I always liked Lynch but he was just making too many off field problems and I understand why he was traded. But, I have always LOVED Freddie and can remember many posters here on the Lynch side claiming Freddie could run the ball all over the field but just couldn't get in the end-zone. Where are they now? cause they were wrong.
  23. I would almost like to see this. If he still has his speed I think this would be a good move for this year. Wouldn't cost too much, would take pressure off of Stevie, would be a deep threat, don't have to re-sign him next year and have him prevent one of the young guys from developing. He liked buffalo and we liked him. sounds like a win/win. Ok, it's gotta be said. Get'er done Buddy. I'd cut Ruvell Martin. Not adding a whole hell of a lot at the reciever position. I know he's been pretty good at special teams but that is what I would do. As far as injuries, it seems to me we are doing ok in that department. Most of them have been minor and the depth has been stepping in just fine. Hairston looked like a vet yesterday. With Jaurons teams we had like double digit season ending injuries. I don't think we have had 1 season ending injury during the regular season so far(knock on wood). I don't even think we can compare this year to the past years of injuries.
  24. Wow. To read your progression from your first post in this thread to the last is awesome. You sound like an angry man. And very hard headed. What did you really expect when u basically say Kyle sucks this year because he doesn't have a lot of tackles? Numerous people have stated that teams aren't really running up the middle on us. Is that really that hard to understand? You need to bow out of this thread while you're behind. You're not gonna win this one. Surely there are some others you can bash today. Russ Brandon, Buddy Nix, McKelvin, Kelsay, Edwards, somebody. Just NOT Kyle. He is not the problem with this defense.
  25. Man, the newbie is not gonna last long here without understanding sarcasm. And he called someone a shmuck! can u believe it?! ....ok, come back and apologize and all will be forgiven.
