Let's not forget he's a starting QB with 7 years experience that still has sub 100 yard games. He's not okay to good, he's just not good. The Bills got to 9-7 in spite of his play not because of it.

1 is too many for a starting QB, no matter how many yards you rush for.

Is throwing it away on third down a stat? Tyrod's biggest problem is that he has the situational awareness of Helen Keller, and it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.

I'm wary of a step back to but I honestly believe it's a little more unlikely. The Bills dumped the big contracts en-route to a 9-7 season so they were somewhat at a base line. On top of it all they had bad QBs. The playoffs may have been luck in the end but they were still a 9-7 team when on paper they had no business a 9-7 team.

Many of which can be found in free agency as solid players. Going after another stop gap QB or raw late 1st/2nd round QB, hoping they pan out is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. It's the same thing you hear every year. Too many holes to fill and media pundits say JP or EJ could be the best of the lot, a Bill Walsh endorsement of Trent Edwards not to mention all the veterans brought in that just need a good supporting cast. The one thing the Bills haven't been doing is actually breaking the bank and going for the top available talent. It may not pan out but you gotta try.
