  1. The Baltimore game could've been a hilarious coincidence of TT just having a poor game, poor game planning, shaky OL after the Cordy injury, limited pre-season snaps and just being simply unprepared and outcoached. It might not be the norm for the season. I'm expecting a much better showing against NY. Watching the post game interviews I've never seen the interviewees so deflated, even after previous big losses, It was like the media were interviewing Tom Brady's footballs. They know how the fans feel about that performance, look for them to make amends. Bills 13 NY Jets 7.
  2. 20-13 Bills. I can't help but feel there is more bad luck coming for the Bills though e.g a key injury. Just a sick feeling I have in my gut. Here's hoping for a victory where there are no injuries.
  3. Damn it, wrote my take above before I read this. Sorry for regurgitating your original thought.
  4. I think so, but there are a lot of if's. - If Tyrod continues to improve. - If the Ryan brothers simplified defence doesn't continue to confuse the heck out the players. - If they can get their plays in on time. - If they could somehow not lose half their offensive yardage to drive killing penalties. - If the defence would stop letting the opposing offense of the hook with stupid penalties when they were essentially stopped. - If they get a break or two. Ect... So many if's, but if the execution improves, that would far outweigh any personnel losses. jmo
  5. I hope so. Brady seems to find reasons to play with a chip on his shoulder and generally makes teams suffer when he does. This year he'll have a big chip on his shoulder so if he can't make teams suffer like he used to it's safe to say he is regressing, and New England along with him. I hope he stubbornly keeps playing as he regresses like Manning, and retires a fraction of the QB he one was. Tyrod will rise in his place.
  6. Unless he throws 30+ interceptions. I don't see it though, he seems to be pretty careful with the Ball. I'm excited to see what he can do this year, I think he's going to be in the really good category.
  7. Was thinking the same thing. Might get more than his true value at the moment.
  8. Both, don't think the Pats would have been anywhere near as dominant over the last 15ish years without Tom Brady but his coaching prowess can't be questioned.
  9. I wouldn't be upset with Rex going but i would be with Whaley going. His job is too create winning roster and he has done that. He didn't hire Rex and if Rex can't adjust and get this team to a winning season that's on him.
  10. I agree, it's risk vs reward. You can't afford to let even a middle of the pack QB get away and having to tag him will probably cost a lot more. It will give them room to sign Gilmore and plug some holes if need be.
  11. My god, this is bigger than a flat earth or chemtrails or fema camps. Pretty sure NASA is involved in keeping EJ of the field somehow.
  12. Every team has ups and downs, maybe not like the Bills, but when Brady and Rodgers retire they are going to be in the same world as everyone else looking for a QB. Brady's play has bailed out so many patriots teams that would be average without him.
  13. Kraft is cheap. He probably used Chinese made galvanized screws.
  14. 1983 deserves a mention as well. Kelly and Talley. No Kelly, no Superbowls. 1985 also saw Steve Tasker get drafted, even if it was too another team.
  15. I think last seasons record came down to coaching, which if i recall correctly the Rex hiring was an ownership decision. Doug Whaley put together a playoff calibre team. The defence tanking and 8-8 record was all Rex.
  16. They both know sitting out will cost him millions, playing well will earn him millions.
  17. The Denver situation is what makes me nervous about the Bills letting Tyrod play out his contract. There are always QB needy teams that will throw money around. Denver probably thought they would at least have Osweiler when Manning retired and now they are scrambling to get a QB while picking 32nd.
  18. Glad he's signed, if true. I wonder how the signing leaves the Bills cap situation.
  19. Ugh, social justice warrior on the prowl. Do you think "they" could mean the media.
  20. I think he should move to coaching, his meticulous study and game prep over the years would come in handy for it.
  21. I'm in Tyrod's corner. I'm in the "draft the best player available" camp, regardless of position.
