  1. Not many thought the Bills could beat Green Bay but this D has a way of getting the worst out of QB's lately, they made two of the three best QB's in the league look pretty ordinary, so I'm holding out hope that they do the same to Brady. Brady on the other hand has more a lot of experience against Buffalo. Looks like this season could come down to the last game which in itself is exciting considering the recent past. I'm getting my popcorn ready.
  2. My sentiments exactly. DM will probably deliver the first winning season in ten years so they should fire him. Is there a word for people that like to be miserable.
  3. +1 I'm actually confident the Bills will win, I really am. I may be disappointed come Sunday (Monday morning for me), but that's for future Downunderbill to worry about. My prediction is Manning gets hit early and often and is put of his game or gets injured. I'd prefer the former over the latter because I like Manning, but when playing the Bills I'm OK with either of these scenarios.
  4. OH Kiko, I can hear the excuses now. The dog ate my play book or my kids are sick. Lucky teams have a third stringer that might be willing to sacrifice their lives for a bit of playing time.
  5. The D will make Manning look so bad they'll bench him in favour of Osweiler. After all, no one benches QB's like the Buffalo Bills. Not worried at all.
  6. If the Bills can somehow win in Denver there are a few other match-up's which will favor the Bills. Payton is not infallible against good defences so I'm going to remain hopeful.
  7. If we beat Cleveland there are 4 possible AFC teams we could come up even with this weekend. All relies on the Bills to keep winning and get on a roll like one we haven't seen in a number of years. It's an up hill battle for sure considering our schedule, but I remain hopeful. If he does I hope the Bills D give Brady an absolute hiding, if only to make BB reconsider that strategy in the future. Having said that I always hope for a Tom Brady smack down in any case.
  8. Superbowls bring a lot of income to local businesses and there is potential for other non-football related events to be held at a domed/retractable roof stadium during the cooler months. A retractable roof stadium would be a good compromise for return in investment and keeping those southerners in unfavorable conditions.
  9. The Bengals looked like the worst team in the NFL. Their offence was atrocious, defence allowed 170 yards on the ground and three rushing td's. Just can't see the Browns having a day like that against the Bills, but you're right, it is a week to week league.
  10. Bowery4 same schnit you wrote in other threads, how many of your spectacular 3704 post are observations on how many posts the original poster has. You seem to provide a valuable contribution to a discussion, keep it up.
  11. The very same. Also the panther team that's crushing the new york giants at the moment.
  12. I would love to have an Australian on the bills, bit of a home country connection to cheer for.
  13. Take 2 qb's this year, whoever their top prospect is and a flier like scott in the later rounds. No qb and no playoffs in 13 years isn't a coincidence. Time to get serious about the position.
  14. IMO they have to get one of the top prospects this year. The kolb signing puts the bills in exactly the same position as the last 12 years. If they string together a few wins they're out of the running for a top prospect next year, and on it goes.
  15. The bills are not going to have the weakest roster unless Jacksonville dramatically improve over the rest of the offseason. They are not going to give up on their head coach after one season either, he is not responsible for this roster.
  16. I agree, and keep drafting 2 every year till they find a franchise qb.
  17. You correct someone, and then throw out a sentence like that.
  18. The thread in the nfl.com game room was the same. The Bills fans saying the Bills were going to win were laughed at. When some Bills fans said the Bills would lose, they accepted as realists. It's funny though, the Cheifs fans went quiet really quickly.
  19. I remember Jim Kelly saying he loved the big hits, they fired him up. ahh the good ole days.
