did you watch him the week before vs. Miami? The Raiders? Packers? Cards? Bears?...........

The GB egomaniac is now in NJ. Lafleur had to put up with Rodgers's nonsense for a while. Now he they really haven't missed a beat with the QB draft pick that everyone dragged the Packers over. GB got better as soon as Rodgers left. Few assumed that would be true. McVay and Les Snead went all in for that one ring 3 years ago. They've 20 games since. And McVay traded away a guy on a rookie contract who could be MVP on a team that went from 3-13 to 30 wins since the Rams won a SB. McVay isn't that genius...

Why is McD not being talked about as coach of the year?
Mr. WEO replied to Antonio's topic in The Stadium Wall
voters don't block out of their minds the playoff history of a HC when considering this year's COTY... It's not unreasonable to expect 1-14 wins a season for the Bills. Especially with everyone being back this weekend, this team is fairly stacked. see above -

Lions are first in point diff, Bills #2...but it's not even close. Chargers aren't a "bad team", they just fall apart each year. Not without significant talent. Washington is pretty loaded too. Campbell should have been COTY last year (the Stefanski pick was mind numbing--he'll likely get fired after the season). So far, Campbell should be the front runner, hands down. -
They can both be true. At the beginning of the season, it's hard to argue this team had significant gaps at skill positions. Plus they brought in Adams. An owner can expect that roster to win a lot of games. The problem became the O-line stinks and the QB is beyond washed up. A GM has one real job: pick the right HC/QB combo. This GM never got any of it right, so he had to go.

Does he have an amazing playoff football mind?

none of that matters. every COTY voter has seen this before: beat KC in the season, lose in playoffs. HC's in DC and Minny are working with a rookie and a former busted out rookie....not Josh Allen -

he would have to at least get the team to the SB. too many view him as the reason the Bills do not advance in the playoffs----that's not going to get you the MVP. -
Complete change in the National Media re Allen
Mr. WEO replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall
well, the media does pick the MVP, yes...but I've been told here at TSW that the MVP goes to a #1 seed QB. anyway, Josh has received "national media" love in past seasons and mentioned as MVP. It doesn't matter. -

I don't understand the fixation with "the national media" why is it important? -
December 15th at Detroit is the Game of the Year
Mr. WEO replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
game of the year, you say....? -
He beat a 3 win team by 6.

lol stopgap? Like who? Purdy is 6th in passing yards, 6th in QBR, has as many TDs as Herbert, more than Daniel’s/Hurts/Geno/Stroud/Murray. Tell us who you would bring in who is already better than that? McCaffrey has played 2 games, Deebo, Kittles and Aiyuk have all missed games. Their Defense is mediocre. Purdy is hardly their problem.

My guess would be that most of those men don't struggle with being alone/keeping women away....

Stafford is on his last legs. I think the bias is still against former (good) players becoming HCs. Plus he came on as sort of a cartoon character. you can only play the teams on your schedule, they say. and Detroit is tearing opponents Defenses up. (wild stat: 6th in passing yards despite being 29th in attempts). They beat Az, Vikes, Texans, Packers. Bills beat AZ and Chiefs. They scored over 45 points in 3 of their last 6 games. Their Defense is 5th in least points allowed. They are, by far, the best team in point differential. at least he has us ahead of the Soviets would be nice!

America is last...

49ers in free fall. Rams have 1, maybe 2 quality wins. Stafford has 13 TDs in 10 games. Scored 15 points vs Fins...with Nacua and Kupp back in the lineup.

"planned impotence"? nah

This is disingenuous, at best. A football broadcast is 3 hours plus. Scanning the stands and showing fans between plays is common and falls in that total time, regardless of who they are scanning. The screen doesn't go blank between live plays..... Anyone who doesn't understand why the NFL (the most valuable entertainment company in the world) would exploit the presence of the most famous (and lucrative) entertainer in the world currently (with a massive female base), really doesn't understand what they are watching.

minority owners have existed for years in the NFL. It's not a problem, and can't be. This was inevitable and makes sense. The financial value of an NFL team isn't material to an owner until he sells the team (obviously the tens or hundreds of millions in annual margin every year is nice too). What better way to put a large chunk of money in your pocket than cashing out a bit of your team while still controlling everything and owning the vast majority of the team's value? The crazy increases over the last 5-10 years and current valuations made this too tempting for the owners to pass up. This could be good for the public actually. Owners trying to steal taxpayer money from a municipality for a new stadium may meet with a local/state negotiating team who can point out that the team owner can easily fund all or most of his new stadium by selling part of his team.

Beyond the constant Ravens and Chiefs chatter, not as much. We kind of laughed when they hired the kneecap nibbler as HC. But that guy can coach. Look at Goff--Boy Genius McVay couldn't figure him out (that Lombardy with Stafford's name on it is sinking their ship--20 wins since). Bills Lions will be the game of the year for the NFL

he could be a decent 3/4.
