  1. Make your own way! Why pay some company for travel? It can’t be cheaper than booking everything yourself—as you like it. it’s London you’re headed to, not Jacksonville. Fly economy, get an Airbnb with your crew. Enjoy!
  2. so, again, you’re position is that being drunk should not have clouded any person in the crashed car’s judgement. And, also, his decision to break the law driving as he did (racing) with a drunk person in the other car, thus contributing to the crash…is the (moral? or something?) equivalent of not taking her keys away? solid doc!
  3. his high priced defense attorney will make the video disappear because money
  4. Does Bryce Young's draft spot change now that it's confirmed he's a skinny Kyler Murray?
  5. he had no obligation to take her keys. But his reckless driving and racing with the drunk driver clearly contributed to the fatal crash. he had a legal responsibility not to break those laws. So Your response makes no sense. Was he also too drunk to make sound decisions? 3 drunk kids get into a car with a drunk driver. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.
  6. why was Carter “speeding”, as you call it…and weaving across traffic and into the opposite direction lane? He wasn’t racing? since he chose to race a drunk who was driving a car full of his friends, he bears zero responsibility? The other driver should have simply used better judgement than a sober Carter—even though she was more than double the legal limit intoxicated? that’s your new argument?
  7. innocent until proven guilty
  8. Not sure why you keep bringing that question up. It's "2". It really doesn't matter who or what prompted Carter to race his drunk friend. Only that he did---in obvious disregard for the safety of everyone in both cars. His choice was decline and/or drive away...or accept the challenge and race this person who was unfit to drive at any speed. He chose the latter.
  9. He's only been charged with misdemeanors. Both based on the videos. That's not being debated. So your position is that racing played no role at all in the crash? None...?
  10. No one is claiming it's not "on her". They have him on film driving recklessly and racing, so they charged him with those. Not much wiggle room there. It's much harder to argue that, had he simply said goodnight to his drunk friends and gone home, that the same outcome would have happened without the racing between the 2 drivers, unless you are prepared to argue that racing had nothing to do with the outcome of the passengers in that car.
  11. What else might he be charged with other than what he was charged with? Why was she driving so fast? Was she not racing the other car? You know she was. Will the other passengers say it was not Carter that she was racing? How does this play out?
  12. Different: when if Murdaugh tossed you under a bus, you wouldn't be getting back up...
  13. So if Stafford is a "middling QB", what does that make Jones? Anyway, Tyrod Taylor put up these numbers or better in Buffalo and everyone couldn't wait for him to go. It took a 17 game season and a healthy Barkley for Jones to eek out 9 wins with backup numbers---getting the team's Point Diff up to a much healthier -6, lol. I hope they pay him and are saddled with that decision for years.
  14. Of course he's going to fight the charges---he's looking at massive civil suits down the road. He would love to have charges dropped for that reason. Problem his defense has is that Two people died because of the actions of the 2 drivers. The have him on tape committing the 2 misdemeanors. He lied to the cops repeatedly. The incident is a national story. Why wouldn't the DA take this slam dunk as it is? It's not like he will do time.
  15. 9% of Offensive snaps
  16. He can run around in Miami's home EZ looking for his coverage assignment..
  17. What leverage does the perp have to drop the other misdemeanor?
  18. Who was the young woman racing? Was the she doing time trials? I'm not sure if your responses are serious---or I assume you just haven't bothered to look up what he has been charged with. He is not charged with "hitting them" (lol wtf are you talking about now??). Just reckless driving and street racing (i've helped you with this 3 times now). It's captured on video. Yes, they are misdemeanors, but they aren't going to be dropped. No chance. As for Kraft, an L2 in Moot Court could have gotten that video tossed. In this, however, case, the videos were municipal property and otherwise freely given to the cops by a business. Give it another swing, Counselor....how do the charges get dropped?
  19. Few crimes are caught on video. His were. Gets of with nothing? All charges dropped? How does this work---his fancy lawyers roll up to the Athens PD with a big bag of money and the videos simply disappear? Two people died as a result of this street race. You think the DA is in the mood to drop charges on this case? Why?--because a very expensive lawyer played a legal mind trick on him?
  20. The quality was enough that they could easily identify both cars and their owners. The videos are the “evidence” they used issuectye warrant. What’s your point? They got the wrong guy? That he was, possibly, driving normally and the video shows no racing or reckless driving—cops made it up? He’s already admitted to being side by side with the car that crashed and that he left the scene. What do you think is the real “hole” story? Fill us in. Who had he spoken to?
  21. This was the more the result of wishful thinking and irrational thought on the part of most NFL fans---all because they lost a WR. Silly, in retrospect.
  22. Is this a serious series of questions? Every city has traffic cameras everywhere. Initially the cops assumed this was a single vehicle involved accident. Then they reviewed the video and found this kid's car clearly driving recklessly and racing in traffic, against traffic---and issued a warrant for his arrest. They have video of the 2 cars parked near each other moments before the race and a guy going back and forth between the 2 cars. “Seeking evidence of possible racing, officers have obtained surveillance video from city-owned cameras along the route the players took out of downtown Athens. They also obtained footage from at least one business owner.” Wrong guy? CGI? The DA is laughing at your suggestions.
