Bills at Patriots: Predict the Score

Bills OL and COVID woes make a win unlikely . Pats 24- Bills 17 -
Not everyone thinks the Bills will lose Sunday
prissythecat replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Don't confuse negativity with realism. Some folks here are consistently negative for sure. But other people can see matchup problems when they exist and hence tend to correctly identify likely outcomes. -
Not everyone thinks the Bills will lose Sunday
prissythecat replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
For the first meeting, 49% of experts picked the Pats. Those 49% were right. https://nflpickwatch.com/nfl/picks/su/experts/2021/13 So why is it a surprise more experts now are picking the Pats? -

A majority of experts are picking the Pats to win. https://nflpickwatch.com/ -
One would think they learned a bit from the Flacco contract

Saturday Night Football: Colts vs Pats thread
prissythecat replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Edmunds is very poor against the run. And Star is average . Not really a material difference having them against a run heavy team ? -
Saturday Night Football: Colts vs Pats thread

The Colts beat the Bills soundly the last time and weather wasn’t a factor . What’s changed in Bills or Colts lineup that makes one believe that the Bills best Indy in a re match ? -
for the Million Dollar Man?

shouldn’t you be on the Giants fan forum now ?

Week 14 Gameday Bills at Buccaneers First Half thread
prissythecat replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes . Quite a few predictions of the Bills either winning by a few or stomping. The Bucs on the predict the score thread. -
Ahh. An argument base on transitivity. Because we beat the shell of the Saints and the Saints beat the Bucs, we should beat the Bucs. Similarly, because we beat WFT and WFT beat the Bucs, we should beat the Bucs . I like it.
-
Weren't the Saints still reasonable talented when they faced Tampa? I think Kamara was still there and so was Jameis? We faced the corpse that was left after injuries. And WFT is actually a competitive team right now.
-
You stated that our offense is going to put up points . I countered that by highlighting that Tampa's defense can put a lot of pressure on the QB so seeing many points from the Bills was not likely. Then you go on a tangent and say Tampa loses games that they should win. In answer to that , I point out that Tampa has lost all of 3 games. So you are not winning any argument so far....
-
They are 9-3. And at the top of their division and likely will cruise into playoffs . They've performed a bit more consistently.
-
We scored 6 points vs Jags in Florida as they teed off on the passing game since we don't have a run game to be afraid of. Tampa gets to the quarterback quite a bit better than Jags. So I am not expecting many points on the board.

You should have seen what this board was like after bad losses during the drought. Lots of people who rarely posted would come out of the woodwork to offer many words of "wisdom"

MYTH Busted: "The Defense couldn't stop the Run"
prissythecat replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
A quick google search seems to indicate that a team that rushes for over 200 yards wins around 88% of the time . Passing for over 200 is not so meaningful . -
MYTH Busted: "The Defense couldn't stop the Run"
prissythecat replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Giving up over 200 yards on the ground, especially when you know the team is just going to keep handing it off is a disaster no matter which way you spin it. Lipstick on a pig.... Incidentally , what percent of teams giving up over 200 yards on the ground win games? I suspect its a very small percentage -
Thanks for the nice write-up . I read on another thread though that the game was horrible to watch and that bad weather should result in postponement of football games.

That was not a Football Game Last Night - Weather ruined it
prissythecat replied to Billsfan1972's topic in The Stadium Wall
It goes beyond this single thread. You just need to look at the thread history. Am sure not many people found the game entertaining if they were expecting chunk plays through the air. But New England certainly got quite a few chunk plays on the ground... -

I feel sorry for someone like you who has very little self awareness on this board.
