  1. I thought Stevie was going to "tear it up" with the 49ers based on what a number of our resident football experts said.
  2. Dan Lefevour? I remember a big thread on this guy from a few seasons back
  3. So Tebow and Cam Newton are comparable in terms of passing talent?
  4. I guess there is a reason why you aren't managing a team in the nfl ? So you would trade say a Mario Williams and Kyle Williams straight up for a backup Qb named mark sanchez. You do realize that during the two seasons that the Jets made the AFC championship, they had a top 3 defense and one of the better running games in the NFL? The subsequent seasons when they couldn't rely on those , and had to rely on Sanchez''s arm instead , they didn't do so hot.
  5. The Seahawks took DB contact with receivers to the next level last season. It does need to be reigned in.
  6. Thank you . A lot of the "I wish we had Wilson" crowd still fail to understand that Seattle's supporting cast on defense and the run game are primarily responsible for Seattle's success. Wilson seems to be a solid QB but he has not been the one carrying the team.
  7. Does this article use any objective criteria in figuring out who is the worst QB in the NFL?
  8. Contrary to some popular opinion, VY was given several second chances. He just didn't have the mental capacity to make any other NFL roster. "Winging it" by using your physical talents alone doesn't work.
  9. Interesting quote on Kap in light of his recent huge contract: "Kaepernick does not read the defense before the snap. You can tell because he shows no understanding of this basic quarterbacking concept: When one receiver is covered, it often means another receiver is not. There’s no awareness of route combinations."
  10. Uh. What unreliable website did you get that from?
  11. I ve seen a number of folks say that Tannehill is the real deal.
  12. This is a critical ability that separates Rodgers, Brady, Manning, and Brees from the rest of the pack. Kaepernick has not shown that ability and he is already going to be in his 4th season.
  13. Its interesting that a lot of posters are saying that Stevie now has a "real QB" and hence he should put up big numbers. I am not completely sold on Kaepernick . I think he will struggle and will not be able to carry SF if their running game sputters and the defense continues to have setbacks (e.g., Aldon Smith, Navarro Bowman)
  14. I don't recall that the reason for the Braves leaving Buffalo was the facilities at the Aud... You may need to read up on your sports facts. Also , a lot of people would rather have the BPO here . It is a quality org.
  15. Lol. That is not entirely impossible.
  16. The Wall Street Journal had an interesting article about how NFL teams are now paying a lot more attention to the size of a QBs hands when evaluating QBs. EJ supposedly had big mitts. And I'm sure the Bills didn't get him because he could pack a snowball better or play patty cake.... http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304856504579338703990998202
  17. Based on the threat title, I thought that we may have dueled for something
  18. Keepernick hasn't proven he can be an effective passer . He's a one read qb. The strong San Fran defense carries the team . Wilson has played better but he benefits from Seattle'a defense too . Seattle only averaged something like 23 points in regular season .
  19. Good luck cheering for the Steelers . But might have been better to pick the Bengals or Colts, who have developed a pretty good nucleus of players.
  20. If you put Wilson on our team, you think he would still have a 75% win percentage?
  21. I thought that Indy sucked for Luck on purpose as a number of posters here have said?
  22. Bradshaw had some rather mediocre stats as a QB. He was certainly clutch when it counted in the SB , but he probbly doesn't deserve mention among the Montana's or Marino's of the world.
  23. Well the facts are bogus in this case. Marshawn was never rookie of the year. Here is a list of Offense Rookie of the Year Winners since 2001 2001 Thomas ! Anthony Thomas Chicago Bears Running back 2002 Portis ! Clinton Portis Denver Broncos Running back 2003 Boldin ! Anquan Boldin Arizona Cardinals Wide receiver 2004 Roethlisberger ! 24. Safer for everyone or is it just safer for a particular protected class?
