  1. this is never happening, but fun to consider.. i would actually do this. then with the #3 i would trade down to a QB needy team, still inside top 10, recoup a pick(at least a 2nd) and take the best OT then i would wind up with an Elite WR#1A and a cornerstone OT protect josh AND give him a weapon....the year of the offense shake things up....thats going for it
  2. Bills Trade Proposal Lands DeAndre Hopkins and No. 3 overall Pick from Arizona for Rising Star and multiple draft picks https://heavy.com/sports/buffalo-bills/bills-trade-deandre-hopkins-gregory-rousseau/
  3. Nailed it !!....well said

  5. so happy he's not a bill i dont blame him....but what was balt thinking RUMOR .... he's already unhappy with his pay....lol
  6. we have something of extreme value (josh) who is guarding something of extreme value (the ball). on every single play there are some very big dangerous men with bad intentions trying to hurt, maim or send our thing of value to the hospital. yet many are content to not properly invest, guard or protect our thing of extreme value on every single play. instead they would rather hire little people who are far away from the thing of value and use them on an occasional basis.
  7. boom, i agree...for my money, josh is the best player in the league.....doing the most with the least support on offense. i would like to add/point out the value and importance of the most under rated and over looked position.....that being TE. the GOAT brady had gronk....in NE & TB......what happened when gronk retired the consensus(not by me) current #1 qb mahomes has kelce....not a coincidence
  8. i say he sits tight at #27 as several highly regarded players fall right into his lap its in the 2nd round at #59 where he moves up
  9. downtown, retractable roof, dual purpose convention center but hey, guess folks don't mind bills home january playoff games being played in detroit or spending $1.5 billion on 10 events a year instead of $2.0 billion on 50 events
  10. it'll be $2 billion before they're done
  11. i stand corrected on knox blocking...did a little digging. according to PFF he is better than most at blocking (by my eye he's game, but gets pushed around alot) Knox finished the year ranked 22nd among tight ends with a 64.3 receiving grade. his 7.6% drop rate was tied for the third highest. he ranked fourth with a 66.5 run-blocking grade his 8.4% positive run-block rate placed fifth. Out of the 30 tight ends who stayed in to pass protect at least 40 times in 2022, Knox earned a 10th-place ranking with a 65.6 pass-blocking grade after surrendering just two pressures on 46 pass-block reps. i'm somewhere between pleasantly surprised and shocked......i guess i need to look at some other TE blocking a lil closer...they must get really pushed around
  12. Spotrac reporting Jordan Phillips signed a 1 year, $3,000,000 contract with the Buffalo Bills https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/jordan-phillips-16776/ prior to that, both spotrac & NFLPA says bills have about $8.3 mil in avail cap space. so that should bring us down to about $6.3 mil (phillips $3 mil in and someones $1 mil out)
  13. Ten days after he made an official visit to the Buffalo Bills’ facility, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips signed a one-year contract to remain with the team Thursday. Phillips’ re-signing gives the Bills eight defensive tackles under contract entering this month’s draft. Top four are projected to be Ed Oliver, DaQuan Jones, Tim Settle and Phillips. https://buffalonews.com/sports/bills/defensive-tackle-jordan-phillips-back-with-bills-on-one-year-contract/article_0ae53bdc-d4bb-11ed-832e-cfa442dc0a45.html#tracking-source=home-top-story
  14. knox is not above average....he is simply an average recieving TE and a below average blocker. the highest rating i have seen for knox is around 13th best....yet he is the 7th highest paid AAV i've seen rating as low as 20's......he's in nobody's top 10.....after him there is garbage at TE2 & TE3. at least at WR you have a top 5 elite WR1A in Diggs, WR2 or 3 in davis and three WR3's in Shakir, Harty & Sherfield....you have quality depth.....could we use a WR1B ??....sure.......i'd rather invest in the Oline....thats still a weakness...other than a mediocre Dawkins....you have nothing josh covers alot of weaknesses....we are so close and yet so far
  15. typical coach speak you support your guys 100%.....until you don't/ cut em
  16. JOSH !! behind the KC Oline and with Kelce ......josh would win !! in the infamous 13 seconds game josh played his azz off, had mahomes beat (plus kc had tyreek in that one) C/ATT YDS TD INT RTG Josh 27/37 - 329 yards 4td/0 int -136.0 passer rating Mahomes - 33/44 - 378yards 3td/ 0 int 123.1 passer rating not his fault Frazier played soft and predictable....this is a team game
  17. Sports Illustrated NFL Insider Albert Breer now thinks there’s a chance Hopkins will be cut by the Cardinals. ” potential suitors believe the Cardinals will wind up cutting their 30-year-old star receiver because his age and his contract make him hard to move.” Breer also mentioned that one team has been given permission by the Cardinals to talk with Hopkins, but the identity of the team wasn’t revealed. https://www.yahoo.com/news/national-nfl-writer-outlines-needs-141330238.html
  18. #1- KC didnt win this SB because they got rid of Tyreek hill. they would have won it with him. Besides, he's not their #1 target, kelce is. Tyreek cap hit with miami for 2022 was $6.5 mil and will be $12.8 for 2024 both bargains. long term starting in 2025 is another story. the other KC WR's shuster & scantling were mediocre. what KC shows is the value of investing in the Oline & TE. #2- Minny should absolutely pay top $ for jeffereson no matter who the QB is. he is elite top 5. i'd tag him. #3- cincy has an interesting dilema. they have 3 really good WR's. you probably can only afford to keep 2. i'd let whoever demands the most $ go/trade if possible. again, 5th year option then tag. the goal of the draft should be instant starter and pro bowl talent. worry about the second contract later.
  19. party pooper oh....von miller says hello back to visions of sugar plums
  20. BPA is and should be a big thing before the draft , you should have a big board, rated strictly for talent from 1-300. you've had months to prepare it, on draft day there should be zero discussions on the order based on talent. before the draft, you should prepare for various scenarios of who you would pick at #27 & #59, etc........whether trading up, down or staying put based on talent AND need is the best way to go. hundreds of scenarios pre rehearsed. LUCK is when PREPARATION meets OPPURTUNITY
