  1. someone contact khalil shakir and tell him to start thinking about a new number
  2. c'mon beane....push the chips in
  3. Sunday February 11, 2024
  4. thats good news......maybe draft a TE on day 1 or 2
  5. guessing that beane is making the normal inquiries on hopkins. hopkins agents tells him buffalo is checking in on you. player fans the social media flames. hopkins and/or arizona would likely have to make unwanted concessions to make it happen. deal in limbo. the Oliver news started with beane approaching his camp on a restructure that would lower his cap, but not add new dollars. oliver said we are only interested in a restructure if adds new dollars and years......thats a no go. hence his comments i guess its possible both could get resolved together via trade

  7. In dealing with the Packers, it’s time for the Jets to act like New Yorkers https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/22/in-dealing-with-the-packers-its-time-for-the-jets-to-act-like-new-yorkers/ They owe Rodgers nearly $60 million, fully guaranteed, for 2023. If they don’t trade him by Week One, his $58.3 million roster bonus becomes 2023 base salary — sending his cap number through the roof. Rodgers should tell the Packers that, if he’s not traded before the start of training camp, he’ll be showing up, just like Brett Favre did 15 years ago. Rodgers should tell the Packers that he’ll be there, and that he’ll stay there, until he’s traded, that he fully expects to participate in practice (by rule, the team can’t put him on ice), creating the risk that he’ll suffer a season-ending injury that will put the Packers firmly on the hook for his full compensation package.
  8. if this thing blows up....GB is in way worse shape....they are stuck with a huge contract and a distruptive presence the jets can still go forward in several directions.... therefore i say the jets have more leverage
  9. i only remember him trying to play injured last season on a positive note, after the 2021 season with ten....analytics pff said he was elite in the run game....5th best OT
  10. #1- a player who represents himself has a fool for a client #2- the NFLPA wants all contracts to be guaranteed so badly they are using/giving lamar bad advice at his peril
  11. Representative not certified by NFLPA has contacted multiple teams on behalf of Lamar Jackson https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/03/21/representative-not-certified-by-nflpa-has-contacted-multiple-teams-on-behalf-of-lamar-jackson/ thats a big no-no
  12. or run out of bounds to stop the clock
  13. hoping this drags on til august
  14. ranked #55 best wr by five thirty eight......i guess that makes him a wr2 https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nfl-receiver-rankings/ his cap hit is $18 mil this year and next....even if the rams ate half this year......still too much next year is he any better than the 2 guys we just added for team friendly $$ ? i'm a NO
  15. #1 - OL #2- TE there is zero quality depth at both those positions
  16. espn analytics five thirty eight sherfield 86th gabe davis 100th https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/nfl-receiver-rankings/
  17. gabe better be careful.....he's in the same predicament mckenzie was in........very low dead money if cut cap $2,900,000 dead $175,000 savings $2,725,000 i think they will keep him....but i also think this is his last season
  18. patrick peterson on gabe davis....."Going back to my film study, I knew he was an in-breaking receiver, he showed that all game." my goodness....why do you allow yourself to be predictable......poor coaching
  19. patrick peterson "I was on Gabe Davis, and I could show you in my notes the routes that Gabe Davis runs: posts, digs, slants occasionally. ... Buffalo's concept is the red zone is laser, meaning they use the No. 2 receiver as a clear-out guy running to the opposite pylon and the No. 1 receiver is running a dig. They also love to run a double-post, that's quarters-beater, and that's what we were in. Going back to my film study, I knew he was an in-breaking receiver, he showed that all game. ... It's crunch time, if he runs this route, I am going to go pick this ball off. Ask [Bills cornerback] Tre'Davious White. I said to him standing on the sideline, 'Tre if they come to this side, I am going to pick this off.' They ran the laser concept. ... Josh thought he had it, and Josh is a guy who trusts his arm strength." https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/vikings-patrick-peterson-called-his-game-winning-ot-interception-of-josh-allen-i-am-going-to-go-pick-this/
  20. I'm still incredibly positive on our immediate future....as in top 5 in the league for next 3 years sure, that cincy game hurt like hell......but i have lots of excuses #1- the weather sucked and changed everything for us.....we need a fast track #2- half the defense was not themselves....von, daquan & hyde out. poyer, tre, others a shell of themselves #3- the whole demar hamlin energy came crashing down #4- leslie frazier played soft and predictable....he's gone i could go on. nobody is running away with the lombardi.....we will be in the thick of it.... GO BILLS !! just give Josh more time...fix the O-line and lookout
  21. obj is one big distraction waiting to happen i'm not even sure he is or can stay healthy....but assuming he is....one superstar diva (diggs) is enough for me i guess i'd be tempted at 4 mil...assuming he checks out physically.....but i'm passing at anything higher anything incentive laden results in selfishness for targets how u would keep both these guys from destroying the culture is beyond me.... i'm a hell no
  22. we pick (59th overall) in the 2nd round KC used the 63rd pick to draft All Pro & pro bowl center Creed Humphrey....just sayin......we need OL this is juedy's last year of his rookie deal....he's gonna wanna get paid....his 5th year option is $13 mil.......that 59th pick is $1.5/mil for 4 years juedy is ranked 24th best WR by espn analytics....which is pretty good and better than most have em if i'm the bills, the most i give up is a 3rd....which aint getting it done we need to hit on that $1.5 mil player
  23. a man who is his own agent has a fool for a client
  24. boom.....we need better than mckenzie and davis
  25. i'm fine drafting a TE day 1 or 2 assuming he is BPA when picked....we need one
