  1. +1. He's on fire.
  2. I still say Minnesotta was better than NO. They just blew it with TOs.
  3. This game's going to be a see saw battle all the way to the end. The Colts are good for a couple more scores themselves.
  4. Jauron would've made the same call...
  5. These half time shows are always brutal. Maybe they should have Gallagher drop some stuff off the top of the scoreboard or something.
  6. Maybe I'm not following the logic here, but how will eliminating the 3-pt stance reduce concussions?
  7. Well, the Saints, who are the #1 offense in the NFL,have 6 points at halftime so I guess the defense is doing ok.
  8. The Saints have a good kicker.
  9. I don't get it either. I mean, that's Peyton Manning back there. Let him throw the ball.
  10. So much for the Saints being bigger and stronger up front.
  11. I'll tell you, this cover 2 defense looks pretty good. Maybe the Bills should try it...
  12. And some great individual efforts.
  13. That was a weak late hit call.
  14. Yup. The Saints are going to score in the mid 20s, minimum, so there's plenty of football left to play here.
  15. 1) Don't trade productive players for draft picks, except as a very last resort. Try to get them back on your team. If they must be traded, get player(s) for them who can contribute. Draft picks just mean more rebuilding. 2) Schobel is not to slow to play OLB in a 3-4. 3) He will probably retire rather than start over at a new position, for a new coaching staff, for a team that is rebuilding (again) but I hope that he doesn't. 4) If he comes back, he will be successful (barring injury) because he is a talented player. In fact, I would worry much less about him making the move to OLB than Maybin. I know that Schobel can rush the QB and make plays because I've seen it. Maybin on the other hand...
  16. Who cares. There are a lot of guys at bodybuilding competitions with better physiques that can't play football.
  17. Washington and Williams were both playing DT. "The package" was a 4-3 defense.
  18. That's the way the Bills roll. Honestly, Dick Jauron was more qualified as a DC that this new guy. Hopefully, I'll be wrong...
  19. Resign T.O. He was our best WR this season. Re-sign the productive players, replace the non-productive ones. If T.O. walks, then it's an aging retread or a waste of a draft pick for something that may or may/not pan out in a couple of years, or both. Let's re-sign T.O. and look to shore up areas that we are weak in already instead of creating new ones.
  20. Schobel might start in a 4-3 alignment, but I can't see it in the 3-4. I really think that you are underestimating Odomes. He was a pro-bowl player and a lockdown corner for the Bills his last few years with the team. He didn't do well against Irvin the in Super Bowl XXVII, but did do well in XXVIII (even getting an int if I remember). McGee has more athletic ability that Odomes, but has not accomplished nearly as much.
  21. I agree in general. The only things I would change are: • McGee starts over Kirby Jackson, not Odomes. • Poz gets the nod over Bailey. • I don't think that Schobel starts. He is a better pass rusher than Seals or Hansen but not as strong against the run and that's not the kind of help those teams needed. He would probably be a situational player.
  22. Um, yeah. It sounds like you are looking for a reply and I don't want to disrespect you here, but I'm not really sure what you are talking about... P.S- It's Ted Knight.
  23. Maybe the field can be a giant corporate image that the team could sell to an advertiser. It would literally be "Bank of America field", or whomever, with some field lines superimposed. Somebody tell Brandon.
  24. This is a travesty. It's bad enough that people play on artificial turf, but now this!
  25. It's tough to decide. Gilchrist was the best all around player, absolutely no question, plus he won a championship. However, he was only with the Bills 3 seasons, so I'm not so sure. OJ was the best pure runner, Kelly the best QB and Smith was the best overall defensive player but none of them produced a title. Thomas might also merit consideration, but again, no championship. I'm going to go ahead and say Jim Kelly. He never played for another NFL team and was the face of the franchise from the day he arrived, for 11 season. He led the team to it's most prolonged period of success and although never won the big one, he did help the team get there 4 times and played pretty well in two of the four games (and left a third due to injury with his team in the lead).
