  1. Better for the Bills. More time to try and get a FG.
  2. So much for Whitner at CB.
  3. You know, I thought that about Miami last week too. Teams just don't do this in the NFL for some reason.
  4. But probably not against man coverage on these downs.
  5. Donte Whitner has played pretty good at nickel the past couple of games. He's got some coverage skills. Maybe he has a future after all...
  6. If we could only stop the run...
  7. Or throw it more on first down.
  8. They recognize it. They just can't pick the blitzers up.
  9. Corner is a pretty decent #4 option. Bills are very deep at DB.
  10. Because everybody else is hurt.
  11. False start should be Jonathan Scott's middle name.
  12. Incomplete pass. Easy call
  13. Yes. Is he on the active roster?
  14. Kyle Williams is our only good DL
  15. Some good defense on this drive. About 15 yds per play.
  16. Exactly. This is starting to get embarrassing.
  17. This offense doesn't look like any Mike Martz offense that I've ever seen. He has had very good success as an OC in the NFL. If the Bills are using his "system" then they need a new teacher...
  18. The Bills need a LT. I'm sure that they will draft one on first day. Bell has been overmatched and he'll need at least another year or two to solidify his play, if he can. The Bills can't afford to wait and see. I would pencil in Bell as a future backup or possible RT starter, if he develops. I'd like to see what a healthy Butler can do at RT. He never had a chance due to his injury. He is injured a lot though... I think that Meredith and Scott have enough ability for one of them to be a solid backup. The starting interior is set. They need more experience playing together. There's no way to know what McKinney can do because he was injured so quickly after coming in. You'd have to figure though, that between McKinney, Simmons and Gaddis, there has to be someone who can backup at center and guard. So: 1 LT + healthy team + additional year experience = decent OL. The Bills can re-evaluate things and make any final tweaks after next season. Besides a top pick, I wouldn't blow the Bills wad on the OL. There are too many needs in other locations, like DL...
