We’re heading to England next season
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know... same old stupid formula -
Blaming the media schtick gets really, really old... there are millions of fans out there with simplistic thought processes and biased opinions that you won't see on TV and they are just as bad! The media is an easy target because they are on TV and Joe Schmo from Pocono isn't unless you listen to sports talk radio where fans call in and HOO BOY some of them sound VERY simplistic.

The best regular season team should have the hardest schedule, not the #2 seed have THE hardest schedule. -
Bengals' Board Monitoring TBD
EasternOHBillsFan replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
I revel in the fan interaction between them and us... it's all talk in the end. We do have several Debbie Downers here and despite McDermott's success, our own fans STILL dog him. That's just another day in the Bills Mafia! -

KC will also have to sacrifice their 9th home game for an International game in Munich, so that's at least fair. HOWEVER... How in the HELL do they play all of their toughest games - Bills, Bengals and Eagles - ALL AT HOME?!?!? We play the Chiefs, Bengals and Eagles ALL ON THE ROAD!!! That's baloney!!!!! -
He only helps if he PLAYS. WE NEED HIM. Can't wait to see what his status is tomorrow and after.

The betting line for the Bengals/Bills game has changed from Cincinnati +4/+140 to +4 1/2/+160 because of the offensive line injuries. I think the line will move even further to +5 or even +5 1/2 if THREE are listed as out (La'el Collins being the guaranteed OUT of course, obviously) as Cappa's status is up in the air..

Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ohh no, I agree that it is a big deal, but it must also be taken into account that Joe Cool was on the other side and only guys like Joe or Josh or Pat can turn a game like that into a win if it goes the other way against them. -
Josh Allen Bashers, what's your solution?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whenever I read the Josh Allen BS, I always think of this... when you have a QB with guts and who takes chances, sometimes you lose but sometimes you win the whole damn thing. -
Rules question: Illegal block to the back
EasternOHBillsFan replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall
We oldheads call that the Immaculate Reception effect 😁 "Raiders safety George Atkinson offered some eyewitness testimony of the referee conference 40 years later in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "We wandered over to hear what they were talking about. We thought they were deciding if the play was dead; instead, they were concerned about security. I heard it with my own ears." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2662252-urban-legends-of-the-nfl-did-frightened-refs-stage-the-immaculate-reception -
NFL greed and when will you turn it off?
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Back2Buff's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know... it's funny how I have the total OPPOSITE attitude about the NBA as compared to the NFL... I miss the old NBA with Oak running around and being able to dominate defensively and lament the rules changes, but in the NFL the rules changes have made the game more open and trying to keep players more safe. Emphasis on the word trying because some of these roughing calls are terrible and some teams like the Dolphins were finding ways around the rules. -

How old are you? Legit question. It's DEFINITELY not a worse product. The parity and talent and drama are MILES better than in the 80s and 90s because of training, nutrition, and rules changes. -
Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don't know that... if he doesn't fumble, who is to say they don't go for it or just kick a field goal and then Burrow does his thing and scores the GW TD? I say they lost because all they had was runs and Mark Andrews as a legit target. That's fair... as I said before the game, it's all moot now. Lamar is not going to play a down in a Ravens uni ever again. I am very interested to see what the Ravens do now. -
Ravens and Lamar do not reach contract agreement
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Steel City Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall
So you missed what I said... their lack of offensive skill players and Greg Roman's game plans HURT Lamar. They leave him open to far too many hits and bad plays... you have to have guys out there he can throw to first, like the year Josh had with guys like Benjamin, Clay and Foster. -

WHY did they lose? 1. Lack of offensive talent at skill positions 2. Too much of a reliance on runs to move the ball to compensate! 35 rushing attempts, 29 passing attempts Lamar Jackson being in there would have just given them a more dynamic running game and that's it. As I SAID, the Ravens staff has let down this team by not taking care of Lamar and surrounding him with talent to succeed on offense. Chickens coming home to roost... -
Is it me, or does Jordan Phillips's mentality and passion make a big difference on the field? Without him I see a lot less fun and swag from our D-line. I hope his shoulder heals up so he can make us better because I see his presence as a big positive.

Only one thing I can say about those frauds who beat us on some fluke... YOU LIKE THAT?!!??!?!?!?! 🖕
