If Dorsey needs to be fired - McD needs to go
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just see what is coming and it's maddening... when McD and Beane act like it's business as usual, it makes it so much worse. "We'll get em next time" isn't viable. -

What do you think is on the horizon? Tre will be given an injury settlement. Hyde and Poyer will probably be replaced after 2024. Von Miller won't be around if he never retains his form. Morse is almost at the end of his career. We are approaching a point where tough decisions will have to be made, gutting our leadership. Do you think that Stefon will want to be a part of it like Devante Adams would have had to endure? NOPE. We don't HAVE TIME for this nonsense, to wait for McD to fix it when clearly he is incapable of doing so. The current makeup of this team is about to be radically changed so you better prepare for it NOW. -
This doghouse that McD has built up is where teams are picking off talent from with the exception of Elam... but if he finds another team and excels we're going to look like idiots.

UPDATE to the story: "Sources confirmed to ESPN that Stalions purchased tickets on both sides of the stadium -- across from each bench -- for Ohio State's game with Penn State on Saturday. Michigan plays both teams in upcoming weeks. According to sources, the tickets purchased by Stalions were not used Saturday. Stalions' name emerged publicly in an ESPN story Friday. He was suspended with pay by Michigan. None of the tickets that the 11 schools told ESPN about involved Michigan as an opponent, per sources. The games involved either one or both of the teams that the Wolverines were playing later that season, according to sources." https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/38727023/u-m-staffer-bought-tickets-11-schools

I think most everyone sees that now, unfortunately. -
Why I’m changing my mind on some things

My grandpa died of brain cancer when I was 9 years old, so your complete lack of respect is noted. Don't you talk to me about respect. -
The problem is that although the savings are acceptable, the dead cap hit is not. We cannot fiddle around any longer as our window is closing, and we cannot help our team in crucial positions without more flexibility to do so. If McD doesn't act to move mountains it may all be moot anyways...

Exactly the same term I used... his contract is an albatross around the neck of Beane. We will see over the course of the next month whether or not Beane is going to make a move to blunt it or do little and we go gentle into that good night... it's put up or shut up time....

They were different... Jimbo was a pocket passer. Josh has freakish talent all around, something we have never had before. I worded it poorly... even Jimbo would tell you that Josh is a freak of nature, the type of QB the Bills have never had, and him COMBINED with a WR like Diggs is something we've never had before. Show some respect to someone who's been aa Bills fan long before you were born and lived through more poor Bills seasons than you have... somehow I doubt he's "glossing over" anything. Josh accepts part of the blame for the problems, so the question is why can't YOU? -
You may be right, but as far as finding talent in the draft goes, that's the only positive for Beane if this downward trend continues. The Von Miller contract and McD's failure to find the solution for our offense look to be the albatrosses around his neck at this point. Von Miller MUST come back to full form or we're out all of that money for nothing. McD has to fire Dorsey after the season and replace him or there just might be a full scale fracture. I certainly get this sentiment 100%

So what's your solution there, *hard* guy, huh? In the military, we want solutions and results, not excuses. So far all I see is you whining about whining... where are your solutions instead of whining about whining?

You were right about disappearing only. Ciao. ❤️

So you were the same age the last time the Bills won a championship when I was when the Pirates won the World Series, 6 years old. It's so frustrating not being able to remember much of the greatest moment in sports... most Bills fans are Yankees fans but no, not me, I'm a masochist! -
So you DO CARE since you've responded to me three times already! Funny. Ciao

Evidently a lot of people care about having moral character... not our fault you lack it and don't care.
-
No, it's called people having moral character... not my fault that more and more people these days are so willing to sacrifice it just to win. That's BS...

From what I saw today, I'm not so sure that he is consistently great enough to do this forever... he's losing focus more often and honestly looks lost as is mentally out of it. It's very concerning and makes me question whether or not it is because he's getting tired of having so much of the game on his shoulders or because the coaching staff lacks the ability to help him. -
The line wasn't responsible for Josh's inaccurate throws for most of the game.

Your words are so important because you've endured this for the most amount of time here at TBD and your opinion to me is elevated over everyone elses except for Shaw66 of course. Let me pick your brain here for a minute... I don't think the Bills have had talent on the offensive side of the ball like Allen and Diggs before, and I don't think there is any historical Bills precedent for what is going on, even for the Bickering Bills year. So I'm going to go back to the Ground Chuck Bills with Chuck Knox. I was a little kid during those years, and from what I gather we were very successful then and suddenly everything fell apart and Knox left. Do you think that we're in danger of falling apart like what happened at that time? Like I said, I can't think of any other historical time to compare it to. -
While I am very upset at Dorsey and McD, Allen's play was subpar for much of the game and that is disturbing...
