Chris Berman 2 minute drill

Wait a second... I thought it was OJ who had the half Bills, half 49ers jacket and not Chris Berman? -
Chris Cooley vs. upset cowboy fans

Reasonable! I find the whole thing utterly hilarious... I'm so glad we have no such distractions on our team. I hope it lasts! -
Sunday fast approaches... and your bold statements shall soon be either proved or disproved. Good luck with that...

Chris Cooley vs. upset cowboy fans
EasternOHBillsFan replied to The Poojer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some of the comments regarding threats were of course way out of line and those ones I disapproved of, but some of us just don't take crap from anyone. I'm glad to see Chris Cooley standing up for what he said and responding in kind to Cowboys fans who were upset in the way that he did. -
Chris Cooley vs. upset cowboy fans

The use of 'sadly' was the reason for my response, as I could obviously tell you disapproved of our approach, and yet you praise Cooley for the same approach, i.e. the low road approach. Hypocrisy, I say again. -

"I’m aware at this point, that I could choose the high road, but a little pettiness makes for much more fun." "For those of you opposed to profanity, I suggest stopping here" "Google me B word. Also, Fred Davis owns many nice things, but I am not one of them." You like this guys attitude, and yet he responded with the same vitriol and language that you flay us Albany responders with? Hypocrisy!!!!!! -

I completely understand your point- see my Bills/Giants game analysis here: http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/136933-billsg-men-prediction-page/page__view__findpost__p__2281637 -
C.J. Spiller is the much better play based upon their production to date, as well as how they have looked. Smith just looks like a disjointed gimmick player right now, and he's trying to fit in. Spiller is improving before our eyes and looks to be a LOT more comfortable.

Bills/G-men prediction page
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Overseas Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No prediction on the score with X-X, but here is how I see it: The Giants defense versus the Bills offense is the matchup of the game. Can the Bills keep the Giants from crowding the box to stop the run/short passes by opening their defense with deeper pass plays? Can the Giants defense pick up on the Bills' screens and defend them well? Can the Giants exploit their pass rushing edge to force Fitzpatrick into bad throws during passing plays? Will the Bills be able to survive with a majority of run plays called and produce sustained drives that produce touchdowns instead of ones that gain us just 3 or no points that end up in punts, or worse, turnovers? We can run the ball and the Giants can't stop the run well, but what happens when the Giants overcommit short and they dare us to throw longer passes? I say that we will have problems containing the Giants' pass rush (18 sacks) and exploiting their overcommital to stopping the run, resulting in uncharacteristic turnovers. This will result in a low scoring game that will hinge on special teams. Look to see a final score of 40 total points or less- it will be an ugly game that the Bills, if truly aware of what happened against Cincinnati, should win. -
NEITHER one. You really should be looking for other options.. who is available in your league besides them? You don't have to get Bills you know

Ralph is cheap...seriously
EasternOHBillsFan replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is not a Ralph Wilson decision, it is a managerial decision... There is no way I believe for a second that Ralph Wilson would do this to these people... and it says a lot about the way they choose to do business these days if this story is true. -
How are the Girondins doing?

If he was notified, then I can understand. If he was NOT notified, there really is no excuse... you just don't suddenly NOT sponsor someone and not tell them. -

Seriously??? Come now... realistically, what would $10,000 dollars to on an annual basis for them when one service will be lost for kids? That is like saying, "Arts in schools? who needs it when we could be funding X research?". A total BS position to take. -
This is a great story I thought I'd share: "This guy in pink pants walked up and said, 'Hey, play that song again,'" said Harvard University Band Manager Rachel L. Hawkins to The Harvard Crimson. "He kind of appeared out of nowhere.” http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2011/10/12/bill-murray-surprises-harvards-marching-band/

The Bills' method of winning is unsustainable.
EasternOHBillsFan replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Michael Vick didn't need to throw those two balls into coverage, and Avant fumbled TWICE, which is rare for any receiver. The Patriots have been masterful at taking what we did first meeting and neutering us the second. Teams in the NFL adjust to what their opponent is doing, and therefore when teams don't make the really bad throw or hold onto the ball, then our defense will be up against it. All I can say is games 6-16 and beyond (?) will tell the tale. What happened in the Cincinnati game when a rookie QB marched the ball down the field? Sometimes they came up big when needed... and if you've been playing attention, our turnovers have stemmed not from pressure, but a distinct plan to jump up and bat balls down and to try and force fumbles. Pressure on the opposing QB has been few and far between... -

EasternOHBillsFan replied to OCinBuffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You are trying to complain about a guy who still thinks Tony Romo is an elite quarterback and can win a championship? He's not worth wasting time over... the guy just can't seem to fathom that some players, despite their ability, just can't deliver the goods, or teams without many stars can actually win. -

EasternOHBillsFan replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What happens when the other teams fails to oblige in giving us a turnover, are we to expect McKelvin or Corner looking back to see Vincent Jackson, Wes Welker, Santonio Holmes or (if we do make the playoffs) Anquan Boldin catching touchdown passes? The turnovers aren't luck obviously, but the other team avoiding turnovers through execution makes our defense extremely vulnerable. -
Yay Aaron Maybin, officially the worst draft pick of the 00's after Mike Williams

Searching while we give up 450 yards and have a -4 turnover ratio and only win by 7? That's not searching, that is playing a most dangerous game... but I'm so glad you aren't coaching the Bills or playing the games... so glad, or we'd never improve. -

EasternOHBillsFan replied to Orton's Arm's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am TOTALLY with you. What does this team do on defense when the turnovers dry up, because eventually they will? A lot of it has to do with the work we have to finish on defense, to bring in more talent to supplement what we have. This year is great, but to win a championship building on years like this is crucial to moving forward. Let the Sunshine People tell you and I that this season is the greatest and we're totally awesome and we'll be 10-6 and that's just peachy, but when it comes down to it the coaches and players know that only the Super Bowl will do. I will enjoy this season, but only knowing that there is more work to be done. 2011=1988, and to get to 1990 we're climbing the mountain, Edwards' Arm! GO BILLS!!!!!!!! -
