  1. FOUR different women with child support?!?!?! THE killer.
  2. Who were the receivers for the New York Giants in 2008? Amani Toomer Plaxico Burress Steve Smith Who are the New York Giants receivers in 2012? Hakeem Nicks Victor Cruz Mario Manningham Anyone can be replaced, incuding a whole WR corps. I REST MY CASE.
  3. Jerry Rice said it best. Great news about the non-franchising Stevie Johnson... let some other team take a high risk and overpay. Finally, at long last, we're building towards something positive instead of holding onto dead wood or expensive plastic.
  4. In your opinion it is foolish. Letting him go and getting Vincent Jackson is an automatic major upgrade.
  5. t This is what teams do in order to win- clean out the dead wood and replace it with talent and ability, the kind that wins, no excuses. Johnson, Parrish, McKelvin, let them all go... we can do better than these players, despite the noise from some.
  6. He does deserve to get in before Cris Carter, period. Tainted? Get real... NO wide receivers were elected this year, which is an absolute joke. Andre's frustration is completely valid. When I read the title of your post, all I could hear was the "wonk wonk wonk" sound of the Charlie Brown teacher's voice. Get real!
  7. That guy is a head case; no way I could support that.
  8. Resign Fred Jackson. Let Stevie go and sign Jackson or Robinson. Draft Upshaw. Draft wide receivers later.
  9. Don't waste your time... I finally decided to quit this hard line conservative love-fest and found a great forum to debate in WITHOUT all of these incessant insults, a balanced forum. Only on the Bills forum for me now...
  10. All I asked for was a number by number discussion since he made it clear that China had a good deal going, whether or not he was joking is beside the point. My point is that if capitalism unchecked is the ultimate goal of corporations and draws support, where will the abuses end? I NEVER said all or nothing, otherwise I would not have taken the time to break it down line by line as to how China attracts business. They do it in Africa, where African leaders will take the money over the welfare of its people. We're not Africa, and so China is trying to dominate the slave labor market- shocker. We're complicit in this venture, and so I'm just pointing out what happens when we allow it to happen, no matter the corporation, it is an affront to the senses. I'm not begging for insults, for to debate a topic, sticking to the subject matter, is somthing I just don't see and don't expect to last very long. We'll see.
  11. Hopefully they will use the money from Stevie Johnson's departure and give him a long term contract. We need quality players kept on our team to build around.... and so far, they have not done the right thing and given Fred a long term deal.
  12. A lot of us care about this because it goes to the very heart of fair play and the NFL's reputation, for which the Bills have a vested interest!!! If you don't want to read about it, you don't have to CLICK the LINK.
  13. Now that we have established it is more than just Apple, what about the points I mentioned? Just because it is rampant industry-wide does not make it right.
  14. So, what is your position on each of those 7? If we want to be like China, which ones do we implement?
  15. So are you agreeing with these actions? 1. Get rid of the minimum wage 2. Make no provision for overtime pay 3. Make no provision for workers compensation 4. Make no provision for environmental regulation of any kind 5. Make no provision for a maximum hours per day worked 6. Repeal all child labor laws 7. Make no provision for breaks
  16. Well then, by your logic, we should make all of our products in China and have a high rate of unemployment here, for it is the best way to make money.
  17. America has grown soft and does not appreciate what working conditions were like before there were labor laws, how horrible it was for people to just live. Many people speak of deregulation as if it would solve our problems, but as the records of corporations have proven, the more you deregulate the more they will take advantage at the expense of working people.
  18. Profits off of the laborers in this fashion IS as it was in Theodore Roosevelt's day. Capitalism should never be about pure profit... you don't cut your head off to cure chronic migraines. Interesting to see if this debate produces any personal insults... maybe just maybe there can be SOME civilized discussion for once...
  19. http://www.cnn.com/2012/02/06/world/asia/china-apple-foxconn-worker/index.html?hpt=hp_c1 Although it is not as bad as many manufacturing sites, it is still very reminiscent of a Charlie Chaplin movie, Modern Times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYbsBcPDVQM As this is the Charles Dickens anniversary, this story only proves that in many parts of the world, times have not changed at all. Yet we are supposed to accept this as normal capitalism at work for the good of the United States. This is far from normal, it is abhorrent to the senses and it is too bad we do not have a Theodore Roosevelt to do something about it.
  20. I do... Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Hank Williams... but that was awful. I'm just old school I guess...
  21. Worst America rendition at a sporting event... ever. Thanks for always trying to countrify everything... ugh.
  22. You only posted ONCE, and I wasn't debating you. You're the one ruining this thread with your personal attacks/name calling, not I...
  23. Is that all you can do is insult people? You're a shining example of perfection, huh? Can't debate anything without the personal attacks? Thanks for nothing.
  24. I hear you there; the NFL can't force manufacturers to stop, but the public sure could... however, I don't see the SUCCESSFUL boycotting of clothing sales to prove a point.
  25. Wrong... aside from one championship game in Miami, he didn't do anything worthy of the Hall before or after, numbers aside. That's fact, not opinion. Success in one game isn't a Hall of Fame worthy career in ANY sense of the word.
