Yes, Ramsey sounds like a moron, as do the majority of NFL players and most athletes across sports. Ramsey is better than the top 1% at his profession. And thats all that really matters.

I feel the only reason anyone like Ramsey is even talking about Allen is bc of Allen’s comments that surfaced from when he was a teenager. I’m sure those comments caught certain people’s attention and now they’re going to target Allen as best they can. This is has nothing to do with Allen’s talent level. Or Ramsey being afraid of Allen. Or anything Allen did in college.

What i meant is im not sure if that would put the Raiders over the cap or not for this season i just looked it up and the Raiders have a little more than $4m in cap space left this season (theyre near the bottom). That obviously includes what Mack is getting paid. But if they exchange Mack for Hughes and Shady, theyd be about $4-5m over the cap this season (i think Mack’s cap hit is $11m this season?). These are just straight numbers and there are more intricacies when it comes to the cap but the Raiders can’t absorb both Hughes and Shady.

I dont think the Raiders could afford both Hughes and Shady contracts. Without looking that would be about a $20m cap hit Beast mode is as much of a sure thing at this point as is the weather. Shady would instantly be the primary back for the Raiders and take that offense to another level. Lynch, if he even makes it all year, would be a nice counter punch in the red zone.

Whats funny is that when i watched hard knocks the other day the scene in the RV with the 3rd string QB talking about snacks and the beds, he pronounced Tyrod’s name like that and i thought to myself “boy this guy better get his sh*t together if he cant even pronounce his teammates name” turns out im the idiot. ??‍♂️

At the end of the day Nick is a marginal NFL starting TE. Yes he has a place in the NFL as depth. But the notion that he may be cut isn’t that surprising if McD sees more promise in someone else. Now if Clay gets cut, wake me up.
