as a coach it would be completely understandable for them to say that - youre never prepared enough. If it was up to a coach they would have 6 preseason games to get ready. Let coaches run real, legit practices and OTA’s without the barrage of rules that are currently in place. More scrimmages to prepare that arent watered down. Longer practice sessions. Eliminate preseason. The only difference between a legitimate scrimmage and a preseason game is that the latter has butts in the stadium which equates to $$$ for the league, owners, networks and has nothing to do with evaluation.

In a perfect world for me: 1. Remove all restrictions off practice/OTA’s. Allow the coaches to have as long of practices as they want. NFL has all these practice rules in place to “protect” the players but then insists on having 4 meaningless games that dont protect the players. 2. Eliminate preseason Keep the 16 game/17 week season intact - everyone wins except team owners. Fans and players win.

I drafted Allen as my backup to Prescott. I drafted the Bills D second to last round bc i tend to stream defenses but Bills D first couple of weeks could be productive.

im in the same boat as you. I simply cant get directv currently. Id pay full price to be able to watch it but i dont qualify without a package. Thanks for everyone’s replies. Much appreciated. when i go to the bar i always eat beforehand - a lot. And then i limit myself to two draft beers and one water. I know, im not a party but im there to watch the game. For anyone that has sunday ticket max at home, and doesnt utilize the app on a tablet or xbox, etc: Would you be open to sharing your account for the football season. Id obviously pay you. I know if you watch the games at your house on the dish Id be able to watch the games on my tablet or xbox. I dont think it allows more than one person to view games on the account utilizing a mobile/xbox/ps account, so as long as you dont really need the mobile aspect of it bc you watch it from your satellite directly it wouldnt affect you. I used to do that years ago when my parents had Directv. Now no one in my family has directv anymore. I typically go to the bar to watch the Bills but with COVID and a newborn im not really excited about that. PM me if youre willing and we would discuss $$. Venmo, cash app, paypal etc.

i see a low scoring game. I feel that offenses take longer to get in sync than defenses. This yr its going to be much worse potentially. I could see the NFL having a lot of sloppy games the first few weeks. bills 17 jets 9

I like playing a little $$ each week on football. But man this yr is gonna be tough. Week 1 is basically impossible to predict. You might as well close your eyes and point at a team on paper.

it really does strike me as odd, too. To hear numerous posters say Rosen has gotten a raw deal is a head scratcher. Andrew Luck got a raw deal by being drafted by the Colts and despite the crappy franchise all he did was win. Teams cant get rid of hot tub Rosen fast enough. When a player’s worth is addition by subtraction, stay away.

Why are there so many Rosen supporters on this board? He didnt get a raw deal; the teams that invested anything in this bum got the raw deal.

The medical definition of obesity is directly linked to BMI, which is an absolutely useless metric when it comes to athletes. Especially football players.

I’m aware of the variations in pronunciation. I get that. My point is that this guy is trying to run a football/sports show and I cant recall any player, coach or analyst pronouncing routes as “Roots”; in the football world there is only one way to pronounce it.

What narrative do I have? We are in May simply tossing ideas around. No one can project forward, the only thing we can do right now is look at performances from last year and take educated guesses. I gave you my reasons beyond those opponents last year doing poorly with their W/L records and it had to do with us still having a great defense and our QB being as good or better than most of our opponents I listed. QB’s we’re going to play: Fitzpatrick or a rookie - 2x Darnold - 2x Stidham - 2x Carr Tannehill tyrod taylor drew lock That’s 10 games vs QB’s that shouldnt strike fear in anyone and none of those QB’s are clearly better than ours. Then you have the likes of second yr QB Murray, Goff and Big Ben. It goes without saying that there will always be tough games every year in every schedule. I dont have a narrative, im trying to be objective. What’s your narrative? “It’s hard to win” ?

im not sure what i want. Ideally, im hoping for both Brady and the Pats to suck this year. If I had to pick one though, id root for Brady over BB. If Brady sucked and the Pats were still really good id be pissed off.
