there's a bit of a learning curve for DB's in this league. i think it's way too early to call him a bust. he hasn't looked great though so far but i'm not going to call him a bust yet.

1,200+ yards in two games and nearly 100 points. what's wrong? holy crap - EVERYTHING. the sad thing is that a couple of years ago, 80% of our draft was defense...Dareus was a top pick...Gilmore was a top pick last year...and the defense is gettting WORSE. Nix has to go. Wanny needs to resign/retire. PERIOOOOD.

i actually didn't have a problem not taking a knee...there was still some decent time on the clock and 3 time outs. the defense giving up the long TD on a SINGLE play right after the turnover is what pissed me off.

1,200 + yards and 97 points in 2 games. this group is breaking RECORDS. when SF has a record-setting day it means something, with the likes of Montana, Young, Rice playing for this franchise. what an absolute embarrassment. The defensive backs can't cover, we can't stop the run, we can't rush the passer. Wanny should not get fired, he should simply give his resignation. And to those who argue that the offense demoralizes the defense, you guys are nuts. It's the DEFENSE that's an embarrassment to this franchise. Chandler looked completely dejected after he fumbled the ball and the defense gave up a TD on a single play before the half. What do you think the team was thinking going into the locker room 17-3 at the half? "I wonder if our offense can score a couple of TD's?" or "I wonder how many records the 49ers offense will break in the second half?" Will Kolb have a career day next week? This is an abomination.

bills D has given up 1,200+ yards in 2 games. Can he start at LB or DE as well as DB?

hold up forever dude? it's the first half! the first touchdown by SF went two plays for 70 something yards..they coudn't make it look any easier...never hold up is nonsense man. they just never show up. period. at least hold them to a FG there..it's SF, not the saints, pats, or packers. did you see the look on chandler after the very next play SF scored a TD? HE'S the one that looked dejected. maybe it's the OFFENSE that feels dejected from the DEFENSE's record-setting performances...

down 10-3 and Chandler fumbles the ball...the bills' D gives up a TD in ONE !@#$ING PLAY. If the defense is demoralized in the first half in a 7 point game then we have a bunch of weak pieces of crap - which happens to be the truth i suppose.

That's right. And at this point he's the league leader in TD's with a 2-2 record. The sky is surely falling. this was a RANKING. it's impossible to have a RANKING without comparing him to OTHER QB'S and looking at RAW NUMBERS.

Where does Vick rank? he's got one less INT than Fitz and 6 less TD's. he probably has Kolb ahead of Fitz as well. There's talent for sure at the RB position..and solid O-linemen...but talking about pure talent on the offense? I'm not sure. What did Chandler ever do before he came to the Bills? How much 1st or even 2nd round talent do we have at TE or WR?

he's not the only defensive coach in the league that is not on the field...again, it comes down to preparation and player execution. there's plenty to get on wanny about so far, but i don't really care if he's on the field or in the booth.

Fumble by spiller before the half...fumble by FJ while down 28-21...Fitz's third INT were all bad, but 45 points in 1.5 quarters? We all know who led the charge down that rabbit hole... You'd be hard-pressed to find me a 13yr old Madden nerd who can put up 45 points in 1.5 quarters. 99% of our convo this week should have been focused on the Defense and it's coach and not on the offense and its QB.

who cares if wanny coaches from the international space station. mario needs to get to the QB and the LB's need to make plays. i really don't thinnk it matters. it comes down to players executing imo.

I hear ya man. Regarding #2: it was sad to see Scott completely lost in coverage on that play. No clue. Probably the easiest TD Gronk will have in his career - him and Brady were playing catch at the park on that play. Regarding #1: I woul'dve preferred seeing FJ on that play just bc freddy has been always one to fight for the extra yard or two...felt bad for CJ though..

I think Stevie is a #1 on quite a few teams in the NFL (including ours)...the thing is, he wouldn't be a #1 in Texas, Atlanta, Detroit, Arizona and some other places. Just because Megatron is better than Stevie doesn't automatically make Stevie a #2 in my eyes. He's good enough to be a #1 but he's just not a premier WR imo - he's not physical enough or fast enough to compete with the Fitzgeralds/Megatrons of the world (not knocking him really) but few are. I think Stevie is good enough to win with. We just haven't had much else in terms of WR depth the last couple of years..bunch of scrubs really. Hopefully Graham can develope into a nice 1A/2 WR...
