Pretty much. Also, as sad is it is: does Kelsay have as many sacks as Mario now? -

EXACTLY. Gailey isn't an idiot (though that may be up for debate still), we're throwing there b/c we NEED that first down. Do people honestly think this defense wouldn't have given up an 80yd drive to win the game if we punted? the titans wouuld've probably done it in about 6 plays at the rate we give up yards.. This offense simply has no room for error pretty much every single game. -

I bet their reserves will easily score about 14 points on us in teh 4th quarter. -
"when it mattered most" 34 points at home isn't good enough? Tell me, when "did it matter most" for the defense? Apparently they never got that memo...

what's a good name for the bills defense?

I agree with you. At the minimum, if you're freaking hellbent on throwing a pass, throw a screen or a quick slant..something a lot safer. The problems is, how much do you think our pathetic defense plays in the play calling? I can honestly say that maybe Gailey was thinking, ****, if we don't get the first down here, even if we punt the ball, how much confidence do I have on the defense not giving up up an 80yd drive? I dunno man. -

As much as it pains me, I may havve to agree that despite their high draft position, these players just aren't good enough. They couldn't get it done in a 3-4 and they're even worse in a 4-3. On paper, the "talent" is there, but the results are flipping catastrophic. I mean it's not even CLOSE. Players are WIDE OPEN. There's no pressure whatsoever. There are gaping holes everywhere on the DL. Holy crap man. I really don't have words.. -

This defense is an epic disaster. This group of guys are arguably the biggest pile of horse **** i've seen on a field in 30 years. I don't like seeing people lose their job, but Wanny has no business leading this defense. His time has come and gone and he's just not cut out to gameplan against ANY NFL offense. Chris Johnson hadn't had a big game in about a year and Hasselback looked like Joe Montana out there today. This is a disgrace. I don't have words. We drafted Dareus, Sheppard, Gilmore, Williams (DB), Carrington, signed Mario, etc. and we have the worst defense in the NFL? This is beyond unacceptable - it's embarrassing. You give this team a defense that is below average - 20th or so in the league (is that asking for too much?) - and we're !@#$ing 5-2 right now. End of story. Houston will run up and down the field on us for probably 700 yards in two weeks. It will not be quick, it will be painful, and it will be ugly.

this offfense has to walk on !@#$ing egg shells 24/7 b/c every single turnover, be it an INT or a TD, is an automatic 6 !@#$ing points. i don't want to hear it anymore. 3 TD's in a game and one INT..34 points, and we lose. Ya, the INT sucked, but that's what the defense is !@#$ing paid for. They made hasselback look like Tom Brady. And Johnson only has big games once a year or once every two years - when he plays the Bills. Fact of the matter is that if we even had an AVERAGE, not great, AVERAGE defense, we'd easily be 5-2 right now. You guys just deflect your anger in the wrong direction. -

Just a question: Will you and others actually be rooting for the Bills when they play the Hawks? Probably not - at least not 100%. I'm sure there will be a little part of you deep inside yearning to have your ego stroked causing you to run to the computer so you can let everyone know just how brilliant you are. PS: www.NFLSHOP.com - if you select standard shipping, you can still get your Wilson jersey in time for the Bills game. -
Obviously you couldn't post this in the other 10 "Fitz sucks" threads on page one right?

In all fairness, there are a lot of irrelevant threads on page 1 of this forum. -
Titans defense appears to be a bit subpar. I expect Freddy and CJ to combine for about 200yds TOTAL offense; Fitz about 175-200yds, and Defense will be energized after last week's solid performance. Titans 17 Bills 28

Quote me one person who said that. Nobody is saying that. The bills O made some drives, the defense played well. End of story. Hopefully that happens every week. -

pull up Chandler's numbers with Romo and you'll see. Wait, I'll do it for you: 9 games, 0 yards, 0 TD. -

you're obviously not following: i'm not saying it's OK - I'm stating the obvious: Graham dropped a ball and HE let the offense down, followed by a poor pass by Fitz on the following play, where that missed pass let the offense down as well - Hence, it's a TEAM GAME. Thus, when we win, it's not just b/c of Fitz and when we lose it's not just because of Fitz. But around here, the latter part of that statement is simply forgotten. I don't see you getting blue in the face over Graham's dropped ball or Freddy's fumble on the first play of the game. -

who cares if he's a rookie? was he not starting? i'm not giving anyone a pass. Fitz should've made the following throw accurately..my basic point is that it's a TEAM GAME. (I.E., WHEN YOU'RE UP 21-7 VS. THE PATS HALF WAY THROUGH THE 3RD QUARTER AT HOME, YOUR DEFENSE SHOULDN'T GIVE UP 140 POINTS IN 18 MINUTES) -

you're going to be getting crapola in the 2nd and 3rd rounds b/c you're going to be trading away those picks, along with a 1st rounder or two to boot.. the fact that we're tied for 1st in the division and you're going on a rant about our 2013 draft is nuts. how about you wait until the season plays itself out before you trade away the entire draft for a QB. By the way, I like how you mention Luck and RGIII but leave out Cam Newton...all the rage here last year was how Cam Newton was the second coming of Jesus Christ. What's their record this year? They have a "young nucleus" of talent too and fat chance they're going 11-5 anytime soon. and for the 100th time, everyone who points out to the success of Stevie, Chandler, the O-line, Nelson (when not injured), "the young nucleus", etc while at the same time crucifying Fitz is really being unfare. Of course they deserve credit for solid production but their play doesn't occur in vacuum. Chandler and Stevie were nobodies before coming to buffalo and hooking up with Fitzpatrick. Kudos to them for picking up their game, and kudos to fitz as well. maybe the Panthers can draft Geno as well, and then they'll have two super duper QB's that are both better than Fitz..and then in 2014 they can pick top 3 again and draft another QB so they can have 3 super duper QB's on their roster that are better than Fitz..and then in 2015... -

i'd argue that if Graham caught a perfectly thrown ball to him on the previous play, he would've kicked a potential GW FG. it's a TEAM GAME. Funny how there aren't 1,200,456 threads ripping on Freddie for fumbling on THE VERY FIRST PLAY OF THE GAME. Imagine if Fitz threw a pick on his first pass? The servers would go down at twobillsdrive.
