Exactly. Lets say we only win 2 out of those 4 (b/c as people here like to say - fitz sucks). We'd still be 5-4 and looking good right now. No one here is saying Fitz is a top 10 QB, but the offense ranks 15th in yds/game and 17th in pts/game; Fitz ranks 8th in TD passes. The defense ranks second to last in yds/game and dead last in points per game, giving up 31.7 a game. The disparity couldn't be clearer. We need significant help at LB and we still need help at DB.

Still have to go Defense heavy in 13' Draft
bobobonators replied to Bufcomments's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if you break down the roster: DL appears to be set..at least for the starters (whether they're effective, that's a different story..) LB - we need two new starting LB's..we're not going to get 2 starters from the draft, but we could definitely get 1. This is our most glaring need imo. DB- as depressing as this is, we still need help at CB; also, george wilson is a very average, to below average, safety...when was the last time we ever saw george wilson make a play?..ANY kind of play? probably like 2-3 years ago.. QB - most of you know i'm a fitz supporter, but we still need to have someone behind him ready to go..at the very least, upgrade the depth at that position. RB - deepest position. WR - with Nelson I'd say our WR corps could be above average..without Nelson we're just average. Stevie is solid, but lets face it, we don't havve premier talent at this position. Everyone is either a very late, late draft selection or picked up the scrapheap. We'll see what Graham develops into as the season closes out. The pick could be foolish, but i'm almost itching to Draft a top WR if the situation presents itself..that's of the mentality that the offense is clearly stronger than the defense for the Bills, so keep adding to your strength to make it even better..but again, that would be more of a Raiders type pick at this point..lol. OL - We're OK, but i'm not sold at the RT position. We only have so many options via the draft to address these various needs, but to me LB, DB should be addressed EARLY in the draft. -
Fitz has more balls than anyone on the defense
bobobonators replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz is not the problem on the team - far from it; Fitz is merely the scapegoat for fed-up fans. When the problems of a franchise are too great to count, the easiest solution for fans is to point the finger at the QB. -
you're clearly clueless.

you make NO SENSE..a qb taht goes 10-25 this game and we lose the game 38-10.. The Pats punted 1 time this game.

Getting home from the Jacksonville game
bobobonators replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
hey man, looking at your sig..must've been great to be at the Texans game when JP and Lee Evans went insane. Sucks most of those games on your sig have been losses..you got some good cities on there though -
Jauron vs Gailey, Who's better, not even close!
bobobonators replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this is how I judge: with Jauron i had many more moments where I literally wanted to go through the TV and lay Dicky out...I've had a couple of moments with Gailey, but not nearly as many.. -
mckelvin has been great on special teams for us this year...too bad he can't cover a WR

the last 3 years i'm averaging a 72% winning pct on my NFL picks. Making smart 3-4 game parlays putting down 100-200 each time and you'd be surprised at the success rate. i rarely bet point spreads though and instead go on money line...that being said, i did bet on the spread in the bills game as part of a parlay..when i locked it in it was at 11.5 points..texans barely covered. hate spreads..lol. -
A few KEY plays that lost us this game...

lets be fair - it was 7-6 in the 3rd quarter. -

i agree. i love fred and everything he's done for us. he's a great story but to me it's so simple what we have to do that it's beyond obvious: 1. CJ should be our feature back with Freddy giving him timely rests 2. Any short yardage, give the ball to freddy more often than not. you can still have both on the field at the same time in certain packages but CJ should be taking the majority of the workload. -

I think we see TJ in next week
bobobonators replied to whateverdude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
with all due respect, "jump start this offense"? This offense ranked 11th in the NFL coming into this game in scoring. We need someone to jumpstart the TEAM, not just the offense. Because when the offense plays well, the defense BLOWS...and when the defense finally shows up, the offense BLOWS. -

completely agree with you...on the road against a better team, show some balls and go for it. the bills aren't going to beat the Texans by kicking FGs -

Aaron Williams looked like a little boy vs a man against Johnson...but our shiny super 1st round pick Gilmore didn't look any better when Johnson literally bulldozed him over. so many DB draft selections and we still don't have a top-notch CB. -
1. False start by Levitre in the 2nd quarter when we were in the red zone. 2. Missed FG 3. 1st Quarter, 3rd and short/1yd and CJ is stuffed. 4. Drop by chandler on the 1st drive of the 3rd Quarter. 5. Drop by SJ on 3rd down and 2 in 3rd quarter (huge non-conversion here..tough catch, but he's our #1) - settled for 3. 6. Chandler 2nd drop in 4th quarter to pretty much seal it. 7. Fitz fumble was icing on the cake. Had some of those plays been converted this game could've been different..but they weren't. We're just not as good as the Texans and we deserved to lose. PS...CAN WE !@#$ING STOP RUNNING THE WILDCAT? It's worthless and hasn't done anything for us all year long other than create turnovers or negative yardage. Just STOP IT. There were two drives this game where the offense is driving and then Gailey goes to the wildcat. WHY???

i don't think anyone's job should be safe on the Bills...especially not Wanny. for his sake i hope he just retires. seems like a decent guy but the NFL's offenses have evolved way past his capabilities.

Sean Payton could be a free agent.

no way he would come to this disaster. -
Two Takeaways Today and we win
bobobonators replied to TheBackupQB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i see absolutely no way we win this game. no scenario. none. i'd love to say that a special teams TD and a defensive TD would be enough, but no. our offense has scored, but this Houston defense is great and our defense will be DESTROYED by the Texans' offense. Bills 17 Texans 55 Texans with 750yds total offense. Wanny gets fired. -
OK, I never do this, but... 2013 NFL draft
bobobonators replied to metzelaars_lives's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it'll be interesting to see how it all works out..way too early to tell yet. teams like Saints, Panthers, Lions, Redskins, Colts, Browns, etc. may very well end up with a worse record than us, but they may not take a QB with their first pick... -
i'm sure sporano is thrilled.
