  1. It only looks like a "remarkable transformation" to folks that didn't see the compounding effect of Josh's week-to-week incremental improvements, of which there were a great many. And his deep throws have been fine the last 3 weeks.
  2. Kicking around the NFL is terrible these days. But yes, Hauschka is looking like he's done. He looked that way toward the end of last year too. Many of us attributed that to injury, but it's looking less and less likely. But look around. What's out there isn't better. Justin Tuckers aren't sitting out there for the plucking.
  3. This. That 4th down super-conversion by Allen was undoubtedly the turning point
  4. It's late on Thanksgiving night, and I've had a glass or two of vino, so forgive an increasingly sentimental dude for going here, but... My mom was a big Bills fan. She would've loved this kid. To the core. Watching him play, I continue to believe that there's something truly special in him. Here's hoping. Happy Thanksgiving all.
  5. As a practical matter, this game is more or less meaningless in the playoff picture. Buffalo makes the postseason as long as they beat Pittsburgh and the Jets in about 90 percent of the possible outcomes
  6. Seems like Boselli, Faneca, Polamalu, and Willis would be near-locks
  7. It makes sense to me to replace his option year They gave Terrence McGee a big contract--more than what NO gave Jabari Greer, who got CB1 money at the time.
  8. I will guess 5 years and $80M with $50 gtd. SB of $30M First-year gtd salary of $5M 2nd year gtd salary of $10M Gtd roster bonus of $5M in year 3 I bet it gets done post 2020 season.
  9. I have made my position on that topic quite apparent: it's a total dump and gives a really bad impression to visiting players who the team may eventually want to court as FAs.
  10. That there is a dude with an agenda. You can say a lot about the Bills, but their facilities have improved a bajillion fold since the Pegulas bought the team.
  11. I'm going to advise Bills' fans to go back and watch the Week 1 Jets game to see our game plan for Dallas. On short weeks, it's very common for coaches to recycle a game plan to streamline preparation, and the Jets and Cowboys have some similarities that make that plan a good fit: Mobile qb Athletic, tough, dual threat RB Very good boundary targets, but not much that can hurt you at slot WR or TE Big, tough DL with athletic LBs Secondaries that play a lot of man coverage Just my 2 cents of course
  12. I've said it before: I don't care if the Bills win the Super Bowl because the rest of the league's 32 teams contract E. coli and have to forfeit the season...I'm counting it. The rest of the football watching world can kiss my asterisk.
  13. He's not the pass protector that Morse is, nor can he snap as well, but he generates push in the run game like nobody's business
  14. Sorry eball. I've promised that I will save my one and only "I told you so" for the day after Josh delivers a Lombardi trophy for the Bills. And then you're all going to get it in spectacular fashion.
  15. Allen has almost reached the point where you need to confuse him to beat him, as it's becoming more and more difficult to out-execute him once the ball is snapped.
  16. He had his best game as a pro when they needed him to. Yes, he got help on plenty of plays, but he did his job and did it well. Sure sign of growth from a rookie
  17. Best thing that could happen is to run 2-3 trap plays from the gun on the first drive and have Motor break one off for big yards. It'd keep Miller at home a bit, and open up the ability to double him up with TEs and make the edge more vulnerable.
  18. TENS unit, pffft. They'll be upgrading to ARPwave soon I'd bet
  19. As I've been saying: when Josh has a bead on ya, you're in serious trouble, because the dude can make a play.
  20. Meh, the "he didn't want to be here" card gets played way too often IMO. He's like everyone else: he wanted to maximize earnings. Had Buffalo offered him $1M more per year he'd likely still be here. JMO of course
  21. It was right where many of us projected it would be. Between Marvin Jones and Mo Sanu, who signed a year earlier.
  22. Warren Moon? Donovan McNabb? I mean Cam is better than half that list. In 5 years you'll be able to add Watson and Mahomes in all likelihood.
  23. My guess is that Marlowe will be the guy.
