Generally agree. He's trending upwards in just about every facet of the game. -

Original Pancake House? Fan-bloody-tastic. I usually get whatever the omelet special is plus a side of the seasonal pancakes and pea meal bacon. Take the family there once a week on average; kids eat free after 4pm. No maples in my neighborhood. Yeah, I'd like to see an Allen dominant performance today, but I have a feeling we're in for more of a consistent, efficient, workmanlike outing -

One of the best things about French toast is that every household almost always has the essential ingredients to make it...so let us know how it comes out. We've got 5-1/2 hours to kill before kickoff Just French toast isn't enough either--has to be brioche. I made it with challah in week 4, and Josh got concussed. -

So get this: Last week the kids wanted pancakes instead of the winning formula French toast, and we saw how that went. After a very busy day yesterday including baby girl's 1st birthday party, I made sure to swing by the store and grab brioche and eggs. Not letting that happen again. Go to make breakfast and realize that I left the legendary maple syrup my friend from Vermont makes at my dad's house yesterday (yes, I take it with me when I go places--I'm a sick person). Didn't have any orange juice either, so I couldn't do a blueberry syrup that I've made in emergencies before either. Had to whip up a 4-ingredient brown butter syrup; wasn't the best--I give it a 6.5/10 (boys gave it a 9, but they're 6 years old so anything with butter and sugar is fantastic as far as they're concerned)--but it got the job done. Week#9 Thread Bills vs. Redskins
thebandit27 replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was covered a few pages back. It's a designed rollout for Beasley with Duke as the 2nd read. If Brown is in the progression, he is at best the 3rd read. Absolutely no reason for the QB to bail on his boot action, skip his first 2 reads, and throw back across his body to a WR whose route takes him into the path of a safety squatting on top. -

Haskins isn't ready...and he's a statue. McDermott's D will eat him alive by sitting back in coverage a lot and sending strategically timed inside blitzes to keep him flustered. -

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by ignorance. I don't think it's Allen hate; I think fans forget that there's a play design with a clear intent. On this play, it's obvious that it's a boot action with a half field read. I suspect Bease is the 1, and the play-side WR is the 2. Askin Allen to abandon his progression, cut short the boot action, and throw across the grain in that scenario tells me that the poster didn't consider the play design at all. -

FWIW, eMoulds also called the red jerseys months in advance and knew about Shaq's shoulder surgery well before it was reported So this is worth monitoring -

OH SNAP Folks, this is the dude that knew about Cordy Glenn's kidney a full year before it came out. -

I guess I view reading progressions and spotting open WRs as different fundamentals. Yeah, he'll get it. If it makes anyone feel better he's light years ahead of where he was a year ago in that regard. -

There's no reason to get upset. It's also patently absurd to assume that (a) I haven't watched the games and the A22 and (b) I don't know what I'm seeing when I do so. Josh's problem isn't that he doesn't see open WRs. It's that he moves through his progressions too quickly at times, and not quickly enough at others. All very symptomatic of a young QB for whom the game has yet to slow down sufficiently such that his pre snap and post snap reads mesh with the intent of the route concept. Pretty simple explanation for what you think you're seeing. Try not to get so indignant next time. -

Yeah, because the dude that's on pace to throw for 4500 yards, who happened to top 400 in Seattle, is the problem. Can't possibly be the totally-in-over-his-head HC. -

Yep The OL is actually doing just fine. The offense is severely limited by a lack of pass catching talent. Hope you're doing well. -

I've seen names like Robinson and Richardson floated, but the truth is that we never know who's really available until they're dealt -

They're definitely looking. -
That's amazing. Hire a crazy guy as a HC. Let crazy HC run FA and draft. Fire the GM. Hire new GM that didn't want crazy HC or any of his acquisitions. Get rid of talented players. What's next, keep crazy HC?

I'd watch for Allen Robinson or Paul Richardson -
Well, the first 2 drives were more or less telegraphed run-based from heavy sets. And once the offense put together a scoring drive, they did seem to be able to run, but got away from it very quickly when they fell behind.
