  1. It looks like he jammed his neck a bit on the super slo-mo. Hoping he didnt suffer any neck/spine trauma. But this one is as gruesome as any. I think the way the camera gets close immediately after, the player is unconscious and so rigid. Then he never appears to gain consciousness again as he is getting wheeled off.
  2. You would think that there is some sort of 'benefit' or exclusivity that comes with this designation in some way. I don't think we/Bills fans would freak out if the Bills held that designation. It would be more of a 'well, duh'. The Toronto series brought such backlash because for all intents and purposes it was a dress rehearsal for Toronto getting the Bills. Rogers basically bought himself a piece of 'ownership', while Ralph Wilson got a nice cash dividend, and also had a really wealthy bidder lined up for when he would eventually pass away. I would have no problem if there was a one-time "international series" game that featured the Bills at this point. I think it beats travelling across the pond or to Mexico. I also think Bills fans would support it as Canadians would support a relevant Bills team
  3. I wonder how much the Jets actually serve the NFL, seeing they have always been a much lesser version, and a red headed stepchild to the beloved and storied Giants. Is 2 teams in the same media market redundant.... especially when 1 of them is rarely any good.? Id say the same thing in LA with the Chargers. The Rams are more successful as well as a little more rooted (I do realize the Chargers started in LA 60 years ago).
  4. Strange the bills didn't pursue (or get) this designation for Canada. I know they are popular in southern ontario... but I have friends in ottawa/Montreal and the bills are highly popular there. I think they identify with our rabid, unconventional, and rather outcast fan base. Now that the team is relevant, time to strike and use every tool to grow deep roots
  5. There is a 6% swing with the Colts/Patriots game from 70% in with a Pats win to 64% with Colts. That ups to 78% - 71% with a Bills' win vs Carolina. You hate to assume things, but with a Colts win, and the Bills take care of business vs Atlanta, Carolina, and the Jets, they are 84% in. If the Bills beat the Patriots there, we are attending a home playoff game.
  6. Call me crazy, but I feel pretty confident about that New England game, provided Allen's health isnt a major issue.
  7. Put yourself as a fan of one of the division winners' shoes (assuming the Bills dont run the table and grab the Division) Would you want Buffalo to be that first round opponent as opposed to Chargers, Colts, Browns, Bengals, Denver, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Vegas, Miami?
  8. I really almost never blame officiating...but that sting of 4-5 calls essentially determined the outcome of the game
  9. Someone tell brieda that running backs are allowed to block blitzers
  10. They are terrible. Not a good team. I know the losses of Taiwan Jones and white hurt... but man. They aren't a playoff team
  11. Why aren't they countering this blitzing? Is this on allen?
  12. I really do suspect there are/has been some lockerroom issues beneath the surface.
  13. I would think cowboys and raiders or something like that would give a bigger bump to be honest
  14. Honestly wouldn't watch that superbowl
  15. Like anywhere, there are pros and cons, most of the major ones listed here. Id say the best pro... is you can find an affordable house here that would be considered a lap of luxury and be like 500% of the price elsewhere. Followed by the relatively slow-ish pace and low traffic nuisance. Biggest cons would be the weather, mainly the extra month or 2 tagged onto winter. Also high paying job market/lack of fortune 500s. I think at this point, if I wasnt so rooted with my/our jobs and our parents/relatives, etc... I would really want to move to like the Carolinas or something. Not quite the Florida scene.
  16. I have a few collections, I guess. Gig posters, Strat O matic cards, trading cards, sports autographed memorabilia. While some of this stuff takes up a decent amount of space, I don't really consider it hoarding because it is items that have value, and the value generally increases over time (to others and not just me).
  17. With that loss, McDermott passed Jauron for the 4th losses in franchise history for head coaches. Doomed
  18. Shaud Williams was unavailable
  19. I watched The Last Dance (Bulls/Micheal Jordan Doc Series) It was pretty awesome. At the time, through high school, I rejected basketball and the NBA thinking that if I identified with 'tough' hockey and put down basketball it would make me appear stronger or something. I hated the Bulls and knew some 'fans' who I loathed as I always suffered as a Buffalo sports fan whose teams never win anything. It shouldn't be easy to just pick the best team, fill your locker with all sorts of *****, wear a starter jacket, and celebrate wins, right? So as a result, from a distance, I always rooted against the Bulls and MJ. Anyways, watching the series makes me kind of regretful I didn't enjoy any of that era. It started off in the early/mid 80s which I did follow as a young kid (and liked the Nuggets), and I got nostalgic seeing the Lakers and Celtics and such.
  20. Xavier Omon for the Panthers game
  21. 'dont nobody like the patriots' -marcel dareus
  22. Notre Dame should be forced to play against a real team this weekend or no playoffs
  23. What a game. Both games I watched were outstanding! Auburn blew their chance to win by not going for 2
