  1. Its early, but ub looks good. Fought jitters in the first 5 minutes or so, but now looks like a 6 seed
  2. Its over so quick. Before you know it, its at 16.I wish they would somehow devise a way to better wire-in the conference tournaments, so march madness could really start with everyone and 2 weeks ago. The conference tournament brackets could feed directly into the NCAA tournament brackets somehow, and spots are there, pre-determined for at-large teams, who get put into a pool and start to be evaluated and ranked right when the lose in their tournament. Like a running ranking to enter into corresponding seeds in the tournament
  3. I think I might, but maybe beforehand online, or possibly by way of a couple buttons on an app. I dont see myself jumping down from my seat to go to a kiosk or teller window.
  4. Yeah, i like cleveland underrated city. Its buffalo on roids. The area there for an indians home game is great.
  5. I think schopp has been on vacation for most of the time since FA. Bulldog alone sounds uncomfortable
  6. 4, 5, or 6 are optimal tbh. Will avoid a 2 or 3 to get to sweet 16
  7. These complaints are imaginary Wgr has been very positive about the bills' activity in free agency. Have not heard one person suggest the o line or the WRs got worse. Negative about the sabres because they deserve it.
  8. I think Oats will certainly stay for the forseeable future and we will be in for a good run. He isn't looking to pull a Turner Gill and go for the first girl he sees to stake his career on a small fish in a big pond. Or even something like Arizona State would be shooting low. He is probably going to really build a top name like Peterson for Boise State, and eventually, there will be an opportunity at a Duke, NC, Kansas, Kentucky, Arizona, etc... and / or he can pick his spot. Or maybe he just wants to build this program to become the East's Gonzaga
  9. It was great. There were things that would "set him off", and like 2 of 3 calls were people either pushing his buttons and/or pranking. He would go nuts. It was probably all an act and intentional. It was highly entertaining and i would be glued anf calling every day as a kid
  10. It is understandable. And somewhat reversible. One, and foremost, you have an outpost and irrelevant team. Oft-times players can come off looking bad and/or falling off a cliff stat-wise which hurts future potential. 1 playoff game in like 20 years, no home playoff games, lack of prime time exposure, etc I do think the "ralph is cheap' stigma is still attached to the franchise to some degree. They would jerk players around a little more and try to squeeze value out of everything. The city/area have a bad name/reputation, and it is justified versus some/most NFL stops.
  11. Bowling Green still kinda scares me. Especially at the mercy of MAC bias in cleveland... but they would still get in. Run the tournament and they will get a decent seed
  12. Rheagar and Varys both existed under Aerys. Unless Rheagar is a faceless man and purposely helped drive his father paranoid and mad, he cant be Varys
  13. I would like that. Decent balance, and not so heavy on the late-season home games.
  14. Yeah, they were just as good. Only lasted like 4 years though.
  15. I would say there are 4 shows that are near perfect in execution consistently from beginning to end: Breaking Bad Futurama Mr Show with Bob and David Oz
  16. I usually load up a bit on fantasy for a team I expect to have offense, so I kind of root for that team (dont really care on result, just score points). Currently its Brees and Kamara. I had Rivers and Gates for years in their best stretch. I have always had a general 'liking' for the Browns and Chiefs, but I never gain much satisfaction or disappointment in wins or defeats. For the most part, I root for teams as a result of my hatred for the other team. Rooting against the Patriots I get a bit emotionally invested. I lived in Philadelphia for awhile and strongly rooted against them. Also if the jets are good I strongly root against them. Used to hate the Giants more, prior to conquering evil twice.
  17. Yeah. Couldnt believe the pricing. No way i would pay that
  18. Classic referee. Loved his voice and his first down calls. He still comes to mind fairly often. RIP.
  19. It IS a factor. The cyclical nature of the NFL SHOULD have saddled the Patriots with Division competitors, probably on a regular basis. There has been no competition at the top of the Division, and 6 fairly easy games. Have been able to coast to the finish line a bit, and the edge in schedule has "earned" them a lot of home playoff games and byes.
  20. This is a good idea. I have made some things with ticket stubs. Seems like a great use for sports cards.
  21. The guy has an answer for every team and situation. Could have had jp losman as qb today
  22. Belichick is the man. Brady rode his coat tail to this one
  23. That was when they overproduced cards x10000 and saturated the market. I see them sold by random packs of 50 at the dollar store. Give them to a little kid who likes sports.
