  1. That's nothing new about California, especially LA. I've lived here for over 10 years and sports just isn't as important here as it is on the east coast or in the south.
  2. If it's high ankle sprain that's at least more than two weeks he'd miss right?
  3. I feel like part of his injury issue is all that orbit free flowing in the wind.
  4. can't he wear a brace for the wrist or change his stance?
  5. I don't think she was leading the charge on that lawsuit. It was her dumb lawyer. Why on earth did she not go with a proven lawyer in those cases, like Gloria Allred? I wonder if Gloria turned down the case and that's why the accuser had a lame attorney. The guy was an imbecile and loose cannon, he saw Matt Araiza, the NFL, and the "Punt God" nickname and saw what he thought was a landmark opportunity. The problem for him is him being an imbecile and loose cannon, he ruined any strategic opportunity for her. Once the Bills cut Araiza, the best he was going to get was Araiza's signing bonus of $50k. It was also so crazy how quickly the local Bills beat went from giving that guy the spotlight to screening him out like he never existed in just 48 hours. The girl was a kid, so I don't think it makes sense to compare her to Santos or Smollet. Compare her attorney to them though, that does make sense.
  6. That attorney was so awful. The day the news broke, people were already citing a gross lack of evidence.
  7. Anytime Tim Graham starts getting preachy about journalism I remind him about his boss: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/10/23/sports/the-athletic-newspapers.html “We will wait out every local paper out and let them continuously bleed until we are the last ones standing" - Tim Graham's boss
  8. The sad reality or fact is, the 9/11 thought was just clumsy and further confirmation he can't compete with the Andy Reid's of the NFL.
  9. "Be the Grim Reaper" anecdote > McD's 9/11 anecdote
  10. For the record, Harbaugh would kill this team. He's too much of a disciplinarian. The players quit on him in SF because of that and went to the owner to get him fired.
  11. My personal opinion is Tim Donaughy is not an outlier in pro sports.
  12. I think he was the greatest too, but I get what you're saying, he would only get to the line of scrimmage or 1 or 2 yards on a lot of plays, then he'd hit a big run and it would be mind blowing. He was also a scat back in a main RB role and over-performed, and very entertaining to watch even as a kid. I had a his rookie card certain he'd break Walter Payton's record, only for that to go down to Emmitt Smith because he played 6 years past his prime. The way Barry carried himself and left the game, I think left everyone wanting more.
  13. “Smelling salts are a classic, comical example of how NFL players think.” - FORMER NFL TRAINER
  14. Not sure if Josh insisted on that deal, but I didn't think Knox deserved that kinda deal based on his play.
  15. I also tend to agree with Dan, I think there have been a decent amount of batted passes by our own WRs that turned into INTs. Not mentioning Josh's highest completion % season ever so far. But moreover, even though my post wasn't serious, I didn't say non-experienced people couldn't analyze or opine on things, I'm just pointing out that not many former players are haters of his, most of them are non-players, and I put more weight into analysis from folks who have the closest, most relevant experience. From a higher level pov, I'm pointing out how many people will just buy into a narrative without stopping and thinking.
  16. hell yeah brother! go bills!
  17. Too much negativity these days. Things are still more positive than 2001-2018. You know what's ironic about most of Josh's haters in the media? They never played football. The stage is set. Mahomes, Saleh, Brady, Rodgers, Burrow, Chris Jones, and the list goes on, they all know Josh is an elite QB and many have reiterated that this week. Pressure makes diamonds. The stage is set for Josh to play the best game of his career. My serious prediction: Josh throws for 6 TD's, runs for 1 TD, and zero interceptions. Will be beautiful fall weather for a great kickoff time. Go Bills!
  18. I thought McD would evolve from a DC into a pure philosophical head coach like Phil Jackson, but I don't think he will based on this year.
  19. Just gonna leave this here buddy.
  20. Same. Nothing they're going to say is going to be breaking news anyway. Sean's coaching ability and ceiling have been increasingly debated among fans the last few years.
