This. We invested $160 million in a decent slot WR, a backup TE who has only seen the field less since, and a Milano replacement when we should have been investing that into a #1 WR and Safety replacements for Hyde and Poyer.

I can't predict the future but I think the Chiefs and Mahomes have a significant advantage bc of their coaches who have significant Super Bowl experience, especially Reid and Spags, and I think that significantly helps their front office decisions. I don't think Josh's contract is an issue either, I do think our front office decisions of investing $100 million of contracts into Shakir and Knox was an example of being too eager and both would have probably played for half of that and that's money that could have been invested in drafting a true #1 WR or Safeties to replace Hyde and Poyer. I mean Beane looks really stupid now bc of his rant on WGR about WR's. You don't see Chiefs GM's or Eagles GM's doing that stuff.

Our problems: Penalties (that's on coaching) Turnovers (that's on coaching too) We have a very drunk OC at the moment We gave Dawson Knox $50 million and his role has declined ever since We used a 1st rounder on Kincaid right after that We gave Shakir $50 million instead of finding a #1 WR We wasted a 2nd round pick on Keon (he's only great at the jump ball and that ability has declined) We've addressed defensive issues with old veterans and smaller defensive draftees for speed James Cook has proven to be our scariest offensive threat outside of Josh and we don't use him nearly enough bc we're scared of injuring him even though he's had no injuries the last 3 years And last but not least: Ego has established over-expectations. It's a win or go home league. 5 years of AFC East division titles, 2 AFC Championship appearances, 0 Super Bowl appearances, and we're putting fake SB trophies in the locker room, posting up billboards of the Lombardi on the practice field, acting like we're some type of championship organization solely because we have Josh Allen. It's pathetic. It's like we're focused on superficial things instead of addressing actual team needs such as a long-term or reliable DAWG solution on the DL, a true #1 WR, and some Safeties. KC traded away Tyreek and then followed that up by drafting not only Rashee Rice but also Worthy. To me, it comes back to the opinion a lot of Bills fans have had since 2021, which is McD doesn't teach that killer instinct/mentality you want in a team and he doesn't teach the 1% enough.

Diggs was probably trying to be alpha dog #1 when he was here and that probably rubbed Josh the wrong way. Everything with them seemed great until the Cincy Divisional Playoff game, super awkward between them mostly after that.

I actually do think they spent too much time in the week leading up to the game promoting the jerseys. It seems like more players were available last week to the media than usual and all of them seemed to hype up the jerseys. I like the jerseys, but I don't think they need to be promoted so much. One of the team's IG posts was a slide of each player holding up a "Bring The Storm" towel, felt flat like the team's performance.

Diggs was a great route runner with great hands, but lacked the speed that Justin Jefferson, Tyreek Hill, Jamar Chase, DK Metcalf, or Xavier Worthy all have, which typically becomes more of a differentiator in the playoffs.

The bigger issue here is Cole Bishop and how much we wasted a 2nd round pick on him. At some point the injuries become a concern, Bishop is rarely available meanwhile Hamlin came back from dying on the field and has played like a backup safety, which is what he is. He's been more reliable than Bishop and I'd rather us retain something we can rely on versus something we hope can develop into something to rely on.

I'm just glad the drama is over. He comes across very coachable so it wouldn't surprise me to see him continuing to improve this year.

McD was asked by Matt Bove after the game on a scale 1-10 how much did they game plan for this game and he said "somewhere between 0 and 1".

Fair enough, but it does appear he was toxic, I'm sure due to him not getting the ball as much as he wanted. I think back to that whole Maddy Glab situation with him.

To me, it isn't concerning, more enlightening as to why he was shipped out of Buffalo. It now appears clear how toxic Diggs was to the Bills locker room. There's been rumors he's attracted to more than one gender if you know what I mean, which makes me wonder if he tried to make a pass at Josh lol. Either way, I think the real entertainment will be him in New England, I just don't see him focused on a serious bounce back.

I wanted the Bills to draft him back in 2001 so bad and we had the draft picks to make it happen. I knew he would be a good NFL quarterback, I remember him throwing 90 times in Purdue game once. Instead we decided to roll with Travis Brown, RJ, and AVP. Sad to read this news though.

I mean, it's clearly some type of drug based on the fact he's not saying it was something else and he IS saying he isn't talking about it. I guess I'm just surprised at how lax the league policy is now about stuff like that. I mean sure, I can't prove exactly what drug it is, but again it's naive to think it wasn't drugs on any level based on the fact he's not clarifying that it's not and he's saying he isn't going to talk about it. In terms of what do I want to happen? Well, they're a rival so of course I want a suspension but it's clear that's not going to happen. It's just crazy to me.

I gotta be honest, there's something about a 1,000 yard RB with 16 TD's who says "F the Chiefs" on a show and then rips up printed logos of other teams on another show. I hope we find a way to keep him bc that warms my little heart.

The only way it works for Von to come back, and I'd take him back, would have to be a VERY low deal. I do believe he was helpful in mentoring Rousseau and think he would be just as helpful with the new D-Linemen coming in. He looked good running that ball back in the playoffs against Baltimore last year, I believe he can still be impactful and make plays.

They're not going to cut him at this point. Like someone said earlier, it's probably a benefit to us for him to stay with them and be a distraction. If they don't have at least 3-4 wins by mid-season, Diggs is going to stir up more. It's gonna be funny if fans troll him with pink powder every away game he plays.

He hasn't stated anything and it's been a week. His first public comments since the boat episode is some drama at Cardi B's ex. I could easily see them cutting him and I hope they do. F the Pats.

If he does get cut, does he play another down of football? I feel like with his ego and toxicity, he would crash out.

The fact Vrabel made his statement and Stef has been silent should tell us all there's more there than we know. What a complete stupid thing to do.
