I remember thinking when Bass kicked off that he nailed it, only to see it land short of the end zone. -

The View from my couch: 1. Watching the Pats march down the field on consecutive drives was beyond frustrating. Clearly signaled that it was going to be a long day. 2. I like Drake's game. He's going to be a problem. Patriots have their next QB. 3. For as bad as the Pat's OLINE was supposed to be, sacks were hard to come by. 4. Both Cook and Shakir with bad fumbles or great punch outs, depending on your perspective. 5. The last 5 minutes of the that game was pure agony. 6. The Bills receivers had the dropsies yesterday, maybe for the first time this season. 7. Cook doesn't look like he is running and then BAM, he's gone. 8. When Josh ran down field trailing Cook(?), do we think he was looking for a hook and ladder redux? 9. Can't think of a single wow pass Josh threw yesterday. 10. The backward pass that resulted in a TD was the only real poor decision Drake made yesterday. Kudos for Rousseau for blowing up the back that ensured he would not recover the fumble. 11. The Bills were in the QB backfield all game and just kept missing him. 12. Elam.... Sheesh... Might be his worst film day. 13. Resting players and getting back ups some live fire, HOPEFULLY, plays dividends in the playoffs. Cause it's painful to watch at times. But you can't learn from the heated benches. -
Certainly anxiety producing.

Me thinks Rapp, Hamlin and Douglas would have played had it really mattered. Good chance to get some real reps for the B Squad. Next week will be the same kind of game.

A lot to like. One bad pass cost him the game.

I personally liked the throw to Kincaid in stride

Are the Patriots still the NFL team you dislike the most?
wjag replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me it will always be the Ravens. The Ravens represent everything that is wrong in sports. Art Model took a well supported team out of Cleveland and moved them to Baltimore. If you remember there we three cities vying for expansion. Charlotte, Jacksonville and Baltimore. Modell sat on the expansion committee. He made sure the NFL didn't pick Baltimore so he could swoop in an take the deal. The NFL made him leave the name and colors behind and eventually had to put a team in Cleveland which they returned the name and colors to. Modell was a greedy bast@ard. And Baltimore, of all cities (who knew what it was like to have a team ripped away from them), didn't care. The Governor of Maryland, Glendenning, was so desparate to have a team, gave Modell a sweatheart deal. It was so over the top, that the MD legislature stepped in and curtailed some of it. Baltimore should have had the Jacksonville franchise. If they had gotten it, I would probably have made them my second team to watch after Buffalo. But the way they stole the Browns, and the way people reacted here with indifference to the suffering of Cleveland fans, made them my lifelong most hated team. And then don't get me started on Ray Lewis. -

We are getting spoiled each week with a new JA17 record. Next up on the docket is 7 total TDs.. He needs these as it is his second to last game. My guess is it is Mitch Time @ NE -

Steelers. I don't want Baltimore to sniff the playoffs. The Steelers and the Ravens can both play defense. So it comes down to offense for me. And I would rather face Pittsburgh. -
Not a snowballs chance in Miami he sits this week.

Surprised they cut Casey. Must be tough to be on a roster. Any given week you can find roster moves have eliminated or downgraded your status. -

They still have a chance, and if they somehow get in, they will be dangerous. -

I don't want Baltimore in the playoffs period. Same with Cincy. I'll take my chances with Pittsburgh -
99.99%.. I'll leave 0.01% chance for others

The other part of that play was Hollins coming down and pushing Coleman and the two defenders toward the goal line. -

Allen had so many pretty throws yesterday. Keon for one. But that throw to Kincaid in stride while he was between 2 defenders was my favorite. -

Night game. Brr... Probably gonna be -8C at kickoff. And that's before the inevitable wind. -

Shouldn't they just raid other teams practice squads? Players would be in game shape. -
Each week he does something that is a standout play in the game whether blocking, receiving or pulling hair.

Rewatching the first onside kick, it was this close to going for a TD the other way. If Hollins doesn't get it, Detroit was going to get it on the run.
