After watching NE beat the Broncos on the road, I’m convinced they will not roll over on the Bills. I loved the sideline shots of Belichick. Good play or bad play, zero emotion.
I’ve seen things today I have never or rarely seen.
— A player tripping over a ref
— a receiver swaying side to side being called a false start
— A punter getting a personal foul
— B2B defensive TDs
He's not the answer on the PK, but he may be the only option at this point in the season. Special teams in general have been a weak spot on this team this year. The holding penalties that are popping up of late on the special teams are tanking field position.
Did I like the execution of the offense yesterday. No
Did I get one game spoiled by a dominant running attack. Yes
Did the Oline struggle in both run AND pass blocking. Yes
Did the defense save the day. Yes
Do I trust Bass to make a kick anymore. No
Did Josh Josh. Yes
Do I care how they won on a short week. No, hell no.
oh. And big thanks to Pittsburgh yesterday.
Everytime the fans and media want to bury Tomlinson, he finds a way to win a big game. With Cincy losing Reader and Chase last week, I give the Steelers a decent chance to go into Cincy and pull off the upset.
Did you catch the Offside call from last night? Could be that Kelce was always giving them an advantage by sneaking the ball forward. My bet is someone watching film caught it and told the refs to be on the look out for it.
Was thinking today that the Bills early season injuries were a sort of blessing. They had many games to matriculate in the backups and they played like Matt who today? Beane did his job and got us a big body to replace Jones and Douglas to replace Tre. Dodson stepped up as well.
If I'm in Miami, that Jets game would be scaring the beejeebees out of me. Miami now have a patchwork offensive line having lost another key player last night. The Jets have as stout a Dline as there is in the game and their Defense plays rough and tumble. I would keep my eyes squarely on NY and not worry an iota about Dallas or Baltimore or Buffalo.
