  1. Bates is also likely needed as the backup center The only other realistic possibility at this point is that the Bills draft a player for the position
  2. The Bills are creating space to take care of draft choices and in season needs for roster slots. The current Sportrac numbers suggest the Bills have about $6MM in cap space which is about what they want to carry into the season typically. What I am actually seeing right now suggests that one of the two following may occur: Beasley may not be gone this year if nobody takes him via trade The Bills release Beasley and sign another player - my guess would be a CB.
  3. Skyscrapers becoming obsolete? Buffalo at one time led the nation in “tall buildings.” This was clearly in the early days of “going to the office” for work. With more individuals working fully remotely or in some sort of hybrid arrangements the need for tall anthills is declining. How Mai get this change cities in the future?
  4. Only to stomp on your head.
  5. Don’t kill our pastime…. In what other way are we to have fun?
  6. Jags seem like they are going to put themselves in salary cap hell.
  7. @mrags has stayed? happy birthday 🎊🎂
  8. Bates Played well enough for the Bills to want to retain him - good move.
  9. Well, you let me walk and I said I did not need a penny over $3,999,999.
  10. No, he has no say whatsoever.
  11. Good to hear there are nuggets of positive developments in the midst of a very difficult situation.
  12. This ^^^^ the Bills have limited cap space. (Setting aside restructuring opportunities). To me, FA is about finding value for need, not making a splash. The draft is more critical to the Bills because it is the best way to manage the cap and to build for the future.
  13. The 4.39 was supposedly in H.S. - not measured by any source considered NFL worthy. Borghi graded as “bottom of roster worthy”
  14. Love the title …
  15. He must really like football to do this.
  16. Yes, there are restructuring options and possible cuts but; one, Beane is not splashy in the FA period; two, the Bills have no cap space; three, the Pegula’s do not appear to be meddling owners worried about ticket sales. These factors make it highly unlikely that the Bills make a big FA splash. The only way they land somebody “big” is if that person gives the Bills a sweetheart contract because they want a chance to win the Lombardi.
  17. Limeaid, so sorry to hear this, it sounds like a nightmare come suddenly true. Prayers are offered and hopefully he pulls through.
  18. When you are wrong - you’re wrong when you are right - you’re wrong as a matter of fact, when you are right, you’re more wrong than if you had just been wrong in the first place
  19. Linky not worky So, how do we know that Pooj did not do this?
  20. Yeah, the Watkins deal was one of the most headshaking moments in Bills lore. Beane and crew have been much smarter in their moves. However, they are not 100% either.
  21. To your points, it’s really hard to say. We may all be surprised. I did not see them picking Groot last year and certainly did not see Basham as rd #2 pick on top of that. The Bills may get lucky with the BPA at #25. While I hardly doubt it will happen, it would also not shock me if they went interior o line at #25.
