  1. My guess is this came down from management and he didn't have a choice.
  2. How many somersaults do you think Josh does in an average practice?
  3. I've said 3-4 times now in this thread that I am not blaming refs, I am saying that smart players and coaches pay attention to how the game is being called and adjust (which is something we didn't really do last year.)
  4. I'm not blaming anything on the refs, I am saying there is value in knowing the refs tendencies (both historically and in game) and adjusting accordingly.
  5. A big reason why is that Tampa Bay held their weapons (like the Chiefs like to do) - again, knowing the refs and their tendencies is part of coaching.
  6. I said this after the game last year, but our coaching staff needs to assess how the game is being called and adjust - if they're getting away with holding on every play, we need to adjust to play more physical as well.
  7. You mean the ones that sucked it up and got jabbed?
  8. Yeah, jeez, that is sad. Almost as sad as thousands of people dying needlessly.
  9. don't like this rooting for brady stuff, hope it never happens again.
  10. I may not get to start a contest for tonight's game as I'm away from home - anyone else able to start one tonight and post the link?
  11. he's too busy doing his own research on "other topics"
  12. This was my first game. I think I've told the story before, but always fun to go over it again. I was eight. My parents grew up in Cheektowaga, but I was born in NYC and had it in my head that I was going to be a Jets fan. I remember the place just absolutely going insane with the blocked kick by Smerlas. We were there with my uncle, I think we lost him in the fracas. Being 8, we did not rush the field, my dad (probably correctly) figured that it wouldn't be safe for me. We had about a three hour drive home, and I remember talking his ear off asking questions about the Bills, I was totally converted with that single play.
  13. There couldn't be more than 3 since there have only been 3 weeks this year, right?
  14. To me it's pretty similar to holding - it could be called on almost every play (or in this case at least most pass plays), and so much comes down to judgement.
  15. He wasn't playing his extra game tho, I mean think how much harder is it to do it in an extra game! 16 games is already so hard, 17 is ridiculous.
  16. Yeah, sucks that we didn't lose to Washington for the tiebreaker advantage too.
  17. They won't be on every week, I think I heard they will do 10 games this year (all on Monday night.) I heard on WGR this morning they are taking a three week break and will not be doing the Bills / Titans game.
  18. One thing I noticed this week was basically letting the outside rushers get to the outside, then just having Josh dance inside / around them. This strategy worked really well, and it only works if the interior of the line holds up. This is impressive because I'd heard so many good things coming into the game about Jonathan Allen who was on the interior, and also because we really struggled blocking Cam Heyward in game 1.
  19. If you put him on IR now, you can't do it again later. My guess is it's still a few weeks before we see Marquez (unless there's a real injury prior to that.)
  20. Bass was nailing 65 yarders in warmups with 15 yards to spare.
  21. Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning
  22. They'll do both, raising 100-200 million with the PSLs, and then a similar amount each year which will pay for their portion of the stadium (and then some.)
  23. I was in India, and couldn't sleep, so woke up early and watched some highlights before touring the Taj Mahal. I remember feeling like that team was on the verge of greatness. Oh well, it was a great day anyway
