  1. Isn't it the Shawn Jefferson catch at 2:03?
  2. The Bills have made it official. I'm not sure who this is but I saw this retweeted by one of the BillsMafia guys: Michael Thomas ‏@MichaelThomas82 Holy ****! I hope its not true RT @ChrisByrd13 Not sure its true. But Im hearing Moorman's wife has terminal cancer & he asked to be released
  3. The fact the Bills have brought in WRs for workouts in the past 24 hours but not RBs is a testament that they're comfortable with Tashard Choice. Fred will likely play anyway and CJ will be back soon. It would be almost impossible to sign a RB and suit him up cold off the street for this week.
  4. Not a complaint, but I thought the Bills specifically said the throwback red standing buffalo helmets would no longer be used?
  5. Can't blame him for being drafted in the 1st round--- but certainly I blame for the holdout and missing TC his rookie year. A raw project like Maybin needed every chance afforded him to be prepared for the big jump to the pro game and he whiffed big time. He started off on the wrong foot with his teammates thanks to that as well. I don't hate him, but the fact that stand up guys like Eric Wood and Andy Levitre have little good to say regarding his time here speaks volumes.
  6. That makes sense--- but Stallworth is only 6'0". Danario Alexander is 6'5", though.
  7. That's pretty cool. As much as I hated the Jauron era I can't hate the man himself--- he's a good man and a good defensive coach. Maybe not HC material (even thoguh he didn't have much talent with which to work in Buffalo) but he belongs in the NFL. Stevie and the Senator are all class.
  8. Awesome. I've been to several Sabres road games in DC with similar results. Of course, it's much more fun when the team from Buffalo wins!
  9. I bought the FredEx shirt prior to Week 1. Last week, I bought the 'Thriller' Spiller shirt when it came out. If they produce a Tashard Choice shirt this week I WILL NOT BUY ONE!!!
  10. Same here--- John Clayton gave a pretty reasoned response as to why the Chiefs are struggling (RE: injuries), but it's great to hear this sort of strife aimed at another franchise. Incidentally, the guy's moniker is "Bulldog".
  11. What are you basing this on? Luck was an effective scrambler at Stanford and his NFL combine 40 time matched Cam Newton's. http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2012-02-26/andrew-lucks-matches-cam-newtons-40-time
  12. The Packers collar looks the same as last year, too--- and it's not monochromatic.
  13. I don't think it's impossible, but that was 25 years ago. FWIW, the thread title is a bit misleading--- the linked article doesn't suggest that the Packers are actually considering it but rather that they should due to stalled contract talks.
  14. Considering the Bills had their jocks handed to them by the Jets this past weekend, perhaps it was decided the equipment manager was no longer necessary.
  15. Joe Buscaglia's eyewitness account to Fred's post injury reaction: http://wgr550.com/pages/14193211.php?contentType=4&contentId=11394472 "Jackson tried as hard as he could to convince the trainers he was okay and could go back in the game. They made him put all his body weight on his right leg and lift up with his toe. He went through a series of change of direction drills on the sidelines. At the very least, he made it look good. However, as soon as he was done with those change of direction drills, a likely realization of pain came over him. He yelled out and clapped out of frustration as his eyes began to well up, made a beeline for the bench and put a towel over his head. He knew his day was over, and likely feared the worst."
  16. It's easy to neutralize our pass rush by keeping extra blockers in--- our LBs and CBs are do inexperienced it's like taking candy from a baby. Fitz has disappointed me big time today. With Fred being hurt it's worst case scenario.
  17. This is bewildering. It's impossible to compare passing numbers from 20 years ago--- the NFL has evolved into a different animal and the stats get gaudier every year. If Fitz' numbers are in any way equivalent to Jimbo's then WR Derrick Mason and his 943 career receptions should one day be in the Hall of Fame.
  18. Just bought FredEx & SuperMario shirts and a Chan magnet. Unfortunately, the Stevie BILLieve shirts are currently sold out
  19. Excellent post all around. He was all but officially named the #2 coming out of camp last year (which is practically damning with faint praise) and I think he's much closer than most practice squad fodder. There's nothing wrong with having projects on the PS--- as you said, that's what it's for.
  20. Revis didn't say anything inflammatory but he was still unnecessarily defensive. He should have thrown a few innocuous compliments Stevie's way and moved on. That's the difference between the Jets and the Patriots. Well, that and success.
  21. I know a few Eagles fans that love Kafka. He looked like a pro in limited time last year but that doesn't amount to much.
  22. I was excited for his chances prior to TC, but he wasn't particularly noticeable. Buscaglia said he was impressive last night though I haven't seen the game yet.
  23. It's funny, it never occurred to me that he was PS eligible until someone posted it on TSW last week--- after the fact, it makes sense as he hasn't been activated for any regular season games. Maybe that's his only chance to stay in Buffalo.
  24. Yes he is--- he's never been on the PS.
