  1. I have never tried Hoffmans...Have you ever had Zwiegles... I am looking for a comparison.
  2. All hail Zwiegles Pop Opens!!!! W/Rochester "Meat Sauce" or "Plate Sauce"
  3. In my mind it gets no better than Zwiegles in Rochester, NY. Think sausage like skins that pop open- thick and great flavor.- Available in Red Hots and White Hots!!!!
  4. Your right. Everyone is going to have their own opinions on the matter. Who knows, maybe its a little of everything. The person that knows that answer to this question would be making a lot of money...
  5. Someone posted this link in a similar thread... http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/injuries/pup Top part of the league once again... Sorry, I don't see this being coincidence. Feel free to disagree..
  6. Have you ever heard the phrase: "Less is more?" -May pertain to your writing style. IMHO. (Just being a smart ass). Here are some stats to back up what I have said. As I stated in my initial response...this could have been found by doing a simple search on member posts, as I have posted it previously. 2007: 17 players on IR. Including 10 starters....this is an extraordinary amount. ...http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/buf/injuries;_ylt=AgV5gOF6_mgUfpFg8QeYubt.2bYF (2007) -----LED THE LEAGUE------- 2008: While last year was better in terms of players placed on IR. We still had 10 by the end of the year and 9 when this article was written. In additions, impact players such as Jabari Greer, Donte Whitner, Terrance McGee and Trent Edwards all missed significant time (several weeks.) http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/teams/buf/inju...Yubt.2bYF" I don't have any (and would love some) stats on the 2006 season. This was the season we started out with the tragic Kevin Everett injury, along with losing several key starters in the first couple weeks.... **EDIT*** I just realized that the links may no longer be functional. SO I guess people will have to take me at my word or not believe me. I don't really care which...I already know the facts...
  7. I have posted facts before in several other threads... Feel free to do some research for yourself if you don't believe me.
  8. You are completely right on this point. Although proper weight training can help strengthen bones. There is no way to prevent these types of injuries. But you are omitting the equal number of players with muscular injuries: Scott- High ankle sprain Williams- Groin McCargo- Calf Nelson- Sprained shoulder Bell- Groin It just seems like every year we are getting destroyed by injuries...I'm only looking for answers...beyond "its a violent sport (which is true).
  9. The Bills have been at the top of the league for upwards of 4 years at this point in terms of players on IR and injuries. NOT a coincidence...sorry...
  10. I went on a rant during the offseason about how the Buffalo Bills have consistently been at the top of the NFL in terms of injuries and players on IR since Rusty Jones left. The trend seems to be continuing this year. I think there is an undeniable correlation between the switch to Allaire, soft practices and the constant bombardment of injuries. My views are the same. More so solidified. This is a very real problem with this team and has been for several years....
  11. Yeah. A bus full of explosives could still do a great deal of damage. Granted it would not be on par with an attack (depending on the type) in the stadium...it would still be a tragedy. It is literally impossible to completely police everywhere...scary thought... BUT you have to live you life....
  12. I can never get enough of the Bills. People at work really hate me because I start giving them the rundown of the offseason events and such throughout winter/spring. I'm psyched for tomorrow! BTW That song is awesome. I want to laugh and cry at the same time every time I watch it.
  13. Hargrove was an entertaining guy because of his sideline energy and his playing effort. His production was very pedestrian. Considering his legal/personal baggage...I do not miss him at all. I do wish him well. I would wish him success but then I would have to read through 1,000 posts a day on how stupid the F.O. was for letting him go.
  14. I'm not disagreeing with that at all. As amusing as it may be it is stupid. And your right, he did overreact. BUT (you knew it was coming) Why compare the practice of hazing in football to the concept of hazing in more professional professions. Its like comparing apples and oranges...furthermore, why complain about something we have NO control over and really doesn't affect us beyond having to determine whether to read articles pertaining to it.
  15. Now this would be awesome! (I know your kidding) Seriously, they should do it whenever he pancakes a defender!!!
  16. Who tinkled in your cornflakes?! It is a tradition (of sorts), a right of passage that dates back to before these guys were "multi-millionaires". You were hazed when you were a rookie...now you get to do the hazing sort of thing. Just because it never became a part of the culture of other professions means nothing. Although the NFL has become much more a of a "professional" business over the last decade, it is what it is. Young men being paid to play a sport...It doesn't merit the same professionalism or decorum of the above referenced professions... Right or wrong...its an ingrained part of the culture of the sport/league.
  17. I agree... BUT at least we have this little baby.... http://cgi.ebay.com/Mens-BUFFALO-BILLS-Foo...p4999.m20.l1116
  18. Walker appeared to be not only slower, but less able than last year. I think they don't resign him because of the simple fact that he is not capable of keeping up with the No Huddle offense. As a side note...the fact that he has yet to be brought in by another team should tell us all something.
  19. Both players would be a major loss. Hangartner is the anchor and captain of that very young and now dinged up Offensive line. Reed seems to be a favorite of Trent Edwards in the slot. I think he will play an even more prevalent role now that Derek Schouman was placed on IR.
  20. 5 Hours before kickoff. They should be opening at 11:05.
  21. I think thats a girl....?
  22. I wear Zubaz and Bills suspenders. Either shirtless or with Talley like spandex. I'm the first to admit that I look like a moron. Who cares...its fun.
  23. I voted for Special Teams for a few reasons. 1. Our kickoff coverage played especially poor and allowed several good runbacks. 2. Brian Moorman seemed off. Both distance and hang time were down. 3. PR/KR were pedestrian. 4. The final fumble by Leodis.
  24. OK. He had 1 Great year and one Very good year. His stats were down across the board in 2008. 2008 97 1,165 12.0 19 2007 134 1,962 14.6 22 On what grounds is Crabtree better known? Clarett rushed for 1,237 yards (a school record for a freshman) and scored 18 touchdowns. The kids had one of the best freshmen years for RB in history. In addition, he started in the National Championship game and scored the winning touchdown. Crabtree is shooting himself in the foot.
