  1. This might be the most retarded post in TBD history. He might be a top 5 thug in the NFL, but top 5 back is worse than ridiculous, it is moronic. He is one Lynch like screwup from being suspended for an entire season. He isn't even the top back on the Bills. The Bills have a pretty good corp of running backs, but best in the NFL? Have you seen Dallas, Jets, Miami, Bengals, Vikings, Chargers, all better than ours, and that list probably isn't complete. He has declined each year in the NFL, that past season looking more like Fred Astaire than a top running back. Thomas Jones is twice if not three times the back that Lynch is and the Bears got what, a 4th round pick for him? That is the most the Bills could get is a 4 if not a 5th rounder. Teams don't even give up 1st round picks for most quarterbacks, much less a backup running back with a history of being a troublemaker. Please, are you new to following the NFL?
  2. With my smartoss personality, I too am fighting back responding in a sarcastic manner, but I won't, sounds like you have had a rough week. Look at the bright side, the Bills won't lose, or blow a sure win for at least another 8 or 9 months.
  3. I totally agree that they need to get it right this time, hire experience as a winner, stay away from coordinators who have never been a head coach in the NFL. The only dispute with your statement that has me in disbelief are the words "do whatever it takes and money won't matter" and Ralph's name in the same chapter of the same book much less the same sentence.
  4. I am guessing your about 24 universes off on your prediction and by the year of 2015 he is in the Pro Bowl.
  5. What do you all think about the Bills bringing in McNabb for two years, word is he may be available after this season and drafting Jimmy Clausen to tutor under him for a couple years. McNabb went to school at Syracuse, so he can play in this weather, and he still has the arm, and more leadership than anyone on the Bills has had since Kelly retired. Clausen has a strong enough arm without a doubt to play in Buffalo, and with the history of Aaron Rodgers, Phillip Rivers and Carson Palmer sitting a whole year or more before being thrown to the wolves has worked out good for them. Just a thought, but not only has this organization been lacking at the QB position with ability they have also had zero leadership.
  6. So what makes people so enamored with Cowher but Billick is a dud? Are you smoking something? Billick has as many Superbowl wins as Cowher, and if it weren't for one sided officiating in the Superbowl againt Seattle, Cowher still wouldn't have even one. Is it just the ugly faces that he makes on the sidelines that people love so much? I mean, he is a good coach, but Lombardi he isn't.
  7. Hindsight is 20/20 also.
  8. He said success not experience. If all we need is experience, Rich Kotite is still out there.
  9. It appears to anyone looking at the situation with an unbiased or non-wishful thinking that he has already made up his mind as far as coming to Buffalo. He didn't like what he saw/heard when he talked to the folks at OBD.
  10. Not one bit. He was successful in college, but that is a whole totally different situation. He spent a few years in the NFL with the Jets and Pats and was a bust at both, which is why he went back to the NCAA. No reason to believe that he will make the Seahawks a winner either, a big difference between drafting players and signing free agents compared to recruiting for college.
  11. Wishful thinking, closer to a Nightmare is you look at the reaction of everyone they are trying to hire in Buffalo. The Raiders were in the Super Bowl this past decade, the Bills never even made the playoffs. At very best from a Buffalo perspective, they are evenly bad, but most people would probably consider the Bills worse when they look at the ownership issues, possible move, unstability.
  12. What makes you so sure Oakland is less desirable? At least the weather is better.
  13. Your idea is terrible, so you want it like the college OT rules? With those rules in games like the Cardinals/Packers game, they might still be playing-neither defense could stop anyone. Anyone who knows football says there are 3 equal parts to a football game-offense, defense and special teams-each one of those units has a job and needs to perform if their teams want a chance to win.
  14. Of course, he is the new "El Nino" everything on the planet relates to Tom Brady, Belicheat and the Pats on this board.
  15. Who cares? You have to cheer for Kurt Warner.
  16. Dude, have you looked close at Lynch? I am a pretty big guy, but if I was cornered by that thug with the gold teeth and tattoos, I would probably dump in my pants. He looks like someone who would murder his mother for a nickel bag of weed. Any woman that isn't 6ft. 8 in, 280 lbs and can dead lift 600 lbs would be terrified by him.
  17. I think it is getting close to the time when we need to cut ties with this moron thug.
  18. Lets see, Williams, Mularkey, Jauron, etc.-cheapest head coaches available, now that is a commitment to winning over saving money if I have ever seen one.
  19. He coached what? Six games? Does he even figure in to the discussion? And even more so, is this discussion even worth having? It is like looking at a basket of rotten apples and figuring out which one is less rotten?
  20. That would send a message alright-a message that the Bills are having such a hard time talking someone into taking the job, one of only 32 such positions in the country, that we had to go to this embarrassing extent to try to beg someone to come here. You might as well go pee the words "Come to Buffalo" in the snow, or get your face tattooed with his picture. The billboards are bad enough, but at least those are focused towards the Bills and Ralph, but to start floating balloons by his house or flying planes over, he might file harassment charges against someone. If Cowher comes here, it is going to be because he thinks he can win here and likes the FOOTBALL situation, not because a bunch of desperate fans with nothing better to do are begging him to come here.
  21. That would be awesome, trade Edwards for Peyton Manning, Lynch for Adrian Peterson, Josh Reed for Brandon Marshall and Reggie Corner for Champ Bailey. We might get a Wild Card if we make these moves.
  22. The Browns organization lately has been as messed up as the Bills have, but nobody there, especially Holmgren is that dumb. We might get him for Parrish, Byrd and a couple draft picks.
  23. The way he chose Nix is probably turning off the majority of the best candidates, not to mention the unstability of the ownership and the organization, along with the non-dedication to winning that has been on display for the past decade.
  24. No they shouldn't look at Cottrell. He hasn't done anything since he was dumped by Buffalo. There a dozens of better candidates than Ted, it would be a step downhill to bring him in. He wouldn't have players the caliber of Bruce Smith, Talley, Bennett, Hanson, Conlan, Odomes, etc. to make him look good.
