  1. It isn't a joke, but kinda funny. Sadly, it is pretty close to the truth too, Ralphy has buried this organization.
  2. I really hope he turns this mess around, but what has he done so far that makes what he is doing right? Jauron was already fired, so it was obvious the staff was going, except maybe April, and he quit because the Ralph butt facked him.
  3. They would be more likely to sign Paula Abdul, she is without a job so she would come cheaper.
  4. Football is no different than anything else in life, Respect is something you earn. You are exactly right.
  5. Are you blind? Everybody hates us and is biased against us-WAH!!!!!!!!!! It has to be jealousy from all of the success over the past decade. I am being sarcastic, and I fully agree with you, get over it, the media doesn't hate us and isn't biased against us, they just speak the truth.
  6. I see two reasons why coaching the Redskins is such a major upgrade over coaching in Buffalo. 1. The team will never move. 2. The owners wallet isn't welded shut, and although he goes about it in a messed up way, he does all he can to win.
  7. Billick only has one Super Bowl ring-how many does Cowher have? One-and with more talent and 3 times as many seasons as a coach. But you are right, I am sure all Bills fans wouldn't want a Super Bowl trophy if it was just because of a good defense. It had to be all Marvin Lewis, he has filled Paul Brown Stadium up with Lombardi Trophies. What a post? Some posts here are ridiculous and that one heads the list.
  8. He got fired by Marvin Lewis in Cincy after an 8-8 season-probably one of the top 10 seasons in Bengals history.
  9. We need both like a car needs gas, but I would think it would be easier to find a good LT in free agency than a quarterback-and vice versa, easier to find a franchise QB in the draft than free agency-or off someones practice squad which has been the motto for the 2009 Bills. It is just a matter of spending the money to get one.
  10. The only problem with your theory is that Aikman's first year in Dallas was also Jimmy Johnson's first year in Dallas-1989. Aikman was the first pick that JJ made with the Cowboys.
  11. Just the talk of this will prevent Cowher from coming here, he wants to go to Carolina so bad, that just the slightest hope that it may be opened will prevent him from signing anywhere else.
  12. Brohm might have potential, he might not, he hasn't really shown any yet, but if they rest the 2010 season on Brohm and his maybe potential-it is one of the most retarded moves in NFL history.
  13. One of my all-time favs was the ultimate over-achiever, Lou Piccone.
  14. He was snapping in the Eagles/Cowboys game sunday I believe.
  15. I agree with most of what your saying, but if you remember back in 1983 (not sure if you old enough to remember), there was a QB from the Univ. of Miami who wanted to get drafted anywhere but Buffalo and when he got drafted by the Bills he went to anothe r league just to avoid playing for Buffalo. Seems like there were at least a few Western New Yorkers who welcomed him when he eventually showed up here.
  16. If this team goes into 2010 with Brohm as the quarterback, we have less of a chance to win than we did with Fitz or Losman or Edwards or Rob Johnson for that matter. If they go into 2010 content with Brohm, that means that all they got for a new Head Coach was another Yes Man, who has won nowhere.
  17. That is total B.S. No coach, especially an established coach is going to sign a one year contract. Most good coaches, even jacked up ones like Jauron, don't even go into the last year of their contract, without signing an extension. It is unsubstantiated rumors like this that downgrade the creditability of this board and others like it.
  18. It is absolutely no surprise at all that he quit. The biggest surprise was that he wasn't named the interim head coach when Jauron got canned. They named him assistant head coach and then named a D-Coordinator whose rush defense was the worst in the NFL as the Interim. The Special Teams dropped off a little this year, but over the past 5-6 years, April was the only one on any of the Bills staffs that had any consistency. He will have a few choices of where to land this year.
  19. Anyone that has been a Bills fan for any length of time is expecting to be disappointed-it is the norm. Alot of wishful thinking about big name coaches, but when the ink on the contract dries it is going to be another "Who the H#ll is that?"situation.
  20. Just another normal off season for the Bills, Lynch is in the news again, and it isn't for his charity work or helping handicap kids.
  21. Who is "Methinks" a new coach or GM candidate?
  22. Hopefully it is for more than one season, he is without a doubt, the best defensive player we have, he had an awesome season. He really bounced back from last years season which was pretty much lost to a nagging foot injury and had another double digit sack year.
  23. It won't make a difference. If Cowher doesn't want to come to Buffalo, as it appears he doesn't (as well as several others), getting a phone call from a couple retired players isn't going to change his mind. Maybe if the Bills had Jim and Thurman in their prime, it might be different, but two Hall of Fame greats can't all of a sudden fill a roster with talent and turn an over the hill, tight wad owner into the owner he was 25 years ago.
  24. Alot of people would say that that is true wouldn't they?
